This is one of my favorite Japanese places. It it very small and often full but the quality of the ingredients is very good. People are friendly.

I have been there yesterday for dinner. I ordered 2 sushis that were just OK, and a plate a tempura. The Tempuras were simply the worst I ever had. I dont live in Berlin but this is the second japanese restaurant i had here. The first one being pretty good, it is not a matter of german taste adaptation. Shrimp... More

I find this place as one of the best in town to eat Japanese cooking. Friendly, non expansive and really good quality. is it better to make a reservation, the place is small and full.

Tabibito is the place for you if you are looking for a tasty sushi. Nevertheless I was a little disappointed by the sashimi, some of the filets weren't as tasty as they should. The restaurant is very small, I strongly reccomend to book a table. The staff is very nice, all together a very nice experience.

Another review here inaccurately describes the location as being not near a UBahn - untrue, it's maybe 3 mins from Rathaus Neukölln (U7). A wide ranging menu, friendly service, decent-sized portions and very good value makes this place a winner. Will re-visit for sure.

When I think "Japanese" I imagine fresh raw fish, a cosy restaurant and a very polite and welcoming staff and Tabibito got them all!!! The food is great, and not only sushi&sashimi, the place is small but well dressed (you feel like you are in some little strett in Japan) and the staff is very friendly. When I want to... More

The place is tiny. But if you're lucky and get a seat, the experience is sublime! Great Sushi and really reasonable prices.

Me and my frien ordered a lot of different courses, sushi, seaweed with veggies, shrimp dumplings, edamame, tofu and more. It was great Japanese gourmet night! I want to go there every time I'm around!!! :-)

nice small restaurant, very homey but at the same time professional. serves Japanese food but the best is their sushi. the prices are not too expensive but for berlin is not average. still worth a visit. good for dinner after a long shopping day at the Arkaden shopping mall next door.

Staying in Neukolln

Neighborhood Profile
No Berlin neighborhood is more popular with the young and jet-set crowd than the old worker's district of Neukölln. With so many Turkish settled here, the area became known as "Little Istanbul." Today the percentage of foreigners is still high and visitors still frequent the Turkish shisha bars. In the daytime, they also visit the designer shops and sit by the canal in one of the street cafés up and down Westerstrasse or at Maybachufer, having a beer and waving to the sightseeing boats as they float by. But at night, Neukölln is dominated by increasingly young, alternative, and international crowds. This is particularly evident in the northern section of the district where there are many bars, funky clubs, galleries and restaurants. There, the night never seems to end.
