Visited after a recommendation from a friend. The place is intimate and full of locals. Schnitzel is cooked to order and can be topped with a variety of sauces and sides. Great value, large schnitzel and a beer for less than ten euros

Very funny place. The food is very tasty. Very good combination of price and quality. Portions are quite big.

The schnitzel is perfectly cooked, thin, and not full of fat. Comes with salad and chips. The staff are really helpful, multi-lingual and happy to recommend. Cheap and easy, will definently go again.

First trip to Germany, gotta eat classics! This is number 2 of the day. I had the chili cheese schnitzel, not greasy at all and it was DELICIOUS! There was a short wait, but we sat at the bar and drank a Berliner, and watched chef cook up a schnitzel storm. Really great food, and really cheap!

Visited this place after an underwhelming trip to the East Side Gallery.I had a double jaeger schnitzel with chips and coleslaw and my partner had one with onions and fried eggs which I can't recall the name of, both washed down with a half litre of ice cold Berliner beer. the bill was about 22 Euros which was great value.... Freshly prepared schnitzel with fries and salad. Schnitzel comes in normal and large size, and it's enough to go for the normal size. Service is good, help yourself to the different types of sauces.

This place is EXCELLENT! The staff is so helpful, the food so tasty and filling (the schnitzel being crispy and not oily at all), the place – well, it's a bistro with all its pluses and minuses. It's well organized and you can always use a plastic knife and fork, so it's a top choice for me. Side note: even... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
