We have had the best schitzel ever, and fries was delicious too, for a very cheap price! There was also an english menu available.

Thanx to Tripadvisor we decided to go to Scheers for the real German schnitzel experience. The schnitzel was tasty and with fries, salad and a soda it costed almost nothing, € 7,40. That it is a fastfood joint is a plus. Staff came from all continents. Recommended if you can live without luxury.

We loved the urban cool atmosphere, the professional service (others often get the queue done in overly friendly manner, this one was different, with jokes and all under control), and the good food.

Really cool atmosphere, with drawings all over and notes stuck to the wall from people visiting all over the world! Good music was playing and people were friendly! It's near the East Side Gallery and the PLUS Berlin Hostel. The Schnitzel was cheap and very good. Also they have vegetarian options!

I have been on a schnitzel craze lately, so I had to come here before I left Berlin. I got the schnitzelbrötchen Scheers Spezial and it was to die for. Good casual food, made fresh German style. I can easily see this being a great meal after a night of experiencing Berlin's nightlife, but unfortunately it closes kind of early.... More

Scheers Schnitzel is a nice fast-food-model restaurant, born from the good idea by which you don't really have to look like McDonalds, to be a fast food. That's why they serve good traditional schnitzel, with many tasty sauces, at cheap prices. The fry is a good fry: they use pans and not fryers, and oil is not dirty as one... More

Great food, cheap and tasty. They cook everything in front of the clients. They don't speak English but anyway stuff was friendly.

This restaurant was literally a stones throw away from our restaurant so it was really convenient for some comfort food. The whole place has the typical European grungy vibe but it was very comfortable to sit in. The food itself was very good, not amazing but there again the price was amazing value. Already been twice!

Thank David B

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
