It was a bit noisy but the food was delicious. You can choose a lot of different things and the price is quite cheap.

My Husband and I were walking around our local area when we stumbled across Transit. Located in a side street just behind Ostkreuz station, it's easy to access while still being quiet and off the main strip. We were seated promptly (though we have heard that some nights it can be very busy and reservations are recommended), and given an... More

Arrived following a local's recommendation, and ordered many dishes from the menu. Most of them were good, some were excellent - especially the duck. This place deserves better ranking here!!

Went here on a friends recommendation and now I'd recommend it to anybody going to Berlin. We managed to get a table for 6 walking in off the street on New Year's Eve. We were very lucky as they were very busy. The inside is very atmospheric, food spectacular and service impeccable. Order more dishes than you think you need... More

The staff were very friendly and spoke English too to help us navigate the menu. We found this menu very price competitive.

Classic Vietnamese dishes in mini format. It is tasty but far from amazing or unique in their cooking. 3,5€ a dish with larger dishes fetching 8 to 9€. If you are in the neighbourhood go ahead. Just let us say that it is not worth crossing the whole city to go here. Maybe in the evening it is more atmospheric.

I've been here for a few times already and I just really love the food. It's a great value for money. with 18 euros I had a beer and four little dishes. I was full and happy. The food is not too heavy and vegetarian options are tasty. The food is very balanced and interesting. I would enjoyed a bit... More

Price/Quality ratio by far one of the best in town for an asian restaurant considering the great cosmopolitan atmosphere there. Waiters are always nice, the service is good. Small disappointment regarding the wine, but otherwise I'd recommend it!

The interior is very nicely designed. The music is quite loud and tables are packed so you need a reservation and this crowdedness also adds to the noise. Dont expect fancy drinks or wine. The goal here is asian streetfood. There is no twist or anything. Its very good but basic asian streetfood. Wit four people we paid 25 each... More

Always when I receive visit in town and I want they meet something special, I go here. It's close to my home, has a good ambient, good service and an easy way to order. It's ideal for tasting different plates and for people who doesn't like to eat a full supermarket by themselves. Depends how hungry your are, you spend... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
