The receptionist showing you to your table is unacceptably arrogant. We were about to leave the restaurant again. The Greek waiter in contrast was pleasant and accommodating. Food was good, but nothing really exceptional. The relatively reasonably priced Pinot Blanc was a pleasant surprise. If one is interested in a French style restaurant in this rather high price range I would rather prefer the Brasserie Le Paris on Kurfürstendamm.

this is the closest thing to an original Brasserie in Paris ... it feels and tastes like the places we all know and love in Paris. The Menu is full of French Brasserie Classics, the food is of very good quality, service friendly and fast, and for me the best thing is the opening times, from a breakfast appointment til midnight, 7 days a week, best opening at Savignyplatz in a long time !!!

The Grand Cafe Saint Germain on Savignyplatz in Berlin-Charlottenburg serves French cuisine and very good wines from French wineries. My favourite is the selection of seafood with very fresh salad or light vegetables, accompanied by a glass of white wine. Bonne vie pour un moment. After that, the normal world can have me back.

The location on Savignyplatz is ideal and the service is friendly. However, the waiter did not understand what I meant by 'bleu' when he asked me how I wanted my steak prepared. He was also chewing gum, which prompted my French companion to comment that they don't have that in France. She also found the mix of bar and restaurant un-French. My steak was OK, but the salad was the opposite of crisp. My companion was not happy with the quality of the wine. In total, we paid 124 EUR for two people, which we felt was overpriced given the mixed quality.

We had an excellent meal here. The service was also on point. Despite the rain, we were able to sit on the large terrace and relax in the dry. The price level alone is very ambitious. The cheapest bottle of rosé (and what else would you drink in a brasserie?) costs a whopping 50 euros! That's simply too much. The fries with truffles for 10 euros are also a price that you can get a good starter for elsewhere.

I always enjoy coming here. The service, the food, everything is always on point. Would you prefer a (perfectly grilled) shrimp to go with the lobster velouté instead of the scallop? “Yes, of course.” That’s the kind of thing I like.
The only thing is that the wines by the glass are much too expensive.

A year ago we were already attracted by French cuisine and the beautiful ambience. But this was the second time we were disappointed by the quality of the food. One dish was too salty, otherwise not outstanding, and the taste was masked by intrusive herbs (decoration!). It is much too expensive for that. And not really French. Charles Aznavour as background music doesn't really cut it and seems rather old-fashioned. The service and the menu were good, even if the interest in feedback on "Did you like it?" was unfortunately limited.

Great cuisine with a rather slow service.
I had an entrecôte with truffle-fries which was prices at 44€, which is reasonable. The fries were the best I have ever tried.
Finally, the crème Brûlée was very good.
Overall, the service was good but a little slowish.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

A beautiful French brasserie in Berlin. Everything is there: white tablecloths and napkins, beautiful silverware, beautiful glasses. The menu is varied and there is something for everyone. The meat is beautiful and the sole fatty, the cooking is perfect; generous salads. The service is as it should be: attentive and the right dose of humor mixed with sympathy.
Only one small downside: it’s a little salty. The leader must have been in love. :-) That day.
A good address, without risk.

The food was really very good but unfortunately the service was poor, with over an hour wait between starter and main course. This was recognised by the waiter who then bought over a
Shot on the house as an apology only to see every other table in the restaurant also received the same. He then had the audacity to ask for a tip!

Warmer atmosphere out in the street. Came in simply to have a drink at the bar with my wife, and the staff were clearly not too impressed with this! We drank our wine as quick as possible and left. Maybe another day and there for food rather than drinks may be different, but I won’t be giving it a second visit or a cent of my money again.

We just wanted to end the evening outside with some cocktails. So we ended up here. Conclusion: Service is very nice and tried, with cocktails they unfortunately did not... taste was ok, content was partly 70% ice cream. Price-performance therefore at the pain threshold, but for that it is at Savignyplatz.

The food was good, whether starters, main courses or dessert.
Everything was expensive, but OK. For starters, a 'petite' bouilabaisse (really petit) for EUR24, but a 300g steak for EUR35 is perfect.
The saddle of lamb was a bit dark. The crêpes susette could be better, our expectations were probably too high!?
The ambience wasn't my thing, too crowded, too many tables, too close together.
The service was good!

Looked for a place to eat the last night of our vacation. Found the restaurant via the map om iPhone. Ordered 3 courses (shared a dessert), and absolutely nothing to complain about. The food was delicious. Very serviceminded waiter. It is pricey, but worth the money. Would defenitley come back another time!

The waiter was impolite and didn't even thank us for the tip. He just grabbed the money and left. But the Saint Emilion can be recommended though.
