We visited the Xantener Eck early evening Friday. It was quite busy but the waiter immediately showed us to a table. However as he was the only person serving we had to wait a few minutes before he could take our drinks order and bring the menu. A dozen draught beers include the more famous Pils - Bitburger, Warsteiner, Kö-Pi,... More

Having read the reviews, I was looking forward to trying this place and I wasn't disappointed. There's nothing subtle about German cuisine: big portions, meat, potatoes. Xantener Eck certainly does it well. I went at 4pm on a quiet Sunday, there were few customers and they had the patio doors wide open to the fresh breeze. The waitress offered me... More

My husband and I came here for lunch on the recommendation of a local. He had the breakfast buffet which looked amazing. I had the meatballs with fried potato. Absolutely amazing! The girl working there was really helpful and happy to offer menu advice as well as directions once we had finished. Overall a must visit!

Positioned close to our hotel in west side Berlin, this restaurant offered a genuine German experience. The setup is traditonal, with tasteful decors and warm colors. The staff is very friendly, polite and available even with a full house. We were threre during evening rush hour (6pm to 9pm) and we enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, drinks and people conversating... More

Every morning breakfast time starts at 09.00 ( till 12.00). You can choose different breads, eggs, cheese, ham, yoghurt etc. for a nice price of € 4,80. We had two times dinner, but we didn't like it. We couldn't taste the meat. We tasted only salt. After complaining they offert a coffee from the house.

We were recommended this place by the receptionist at the hotel where we were staying as we were looking for traditional german food. I thought that the interior of the pub was amazing and it really highlighted the German culture. The menu was very convenient as it was available in a range if different languages. I ordered the pork done... More

This cosy restaurant with its typical interior is located on the outskirts of Kurfürstendamm, near Adenauer U-station. They serve really delicious German specials such 'Schweinehaxe" (pork knuckle) but also more international dishes like steak tartare. The food was very good, and the portions huge, at very reasonable prices (12-16€ for a main dish). Nice service too. Definitely recommandable, and if... More

Was recommended to go here by the receptionist at my hotel on the evening I arrived in Berlin. It was around a 5 minute walk for me, but easy to find. The staff were very friendly and the interior was really very nice. Great selection of beers and the menu choices were very good. I ended up visiting twice during... More

Lovely old bar/restaurant with some fascinating decor. They have a large selection of beers and wines and the food is excellent. Only thibg was that the hardboiled eggs were underdone and still raw. But the staff took care of it. If you want a cheap breakfast buffet, come... More
