Very nice, fresh Italian pizza! Friendly priced. A small place (mostly take away) but there is room for some 20 people.

Outside of Italy there is only one place to go to have a good pizza, Pizza Nostra. In Berlin there are thousands of places you can have a pizza, but in Nostra you will get a "real" pizza!

I had a Capriciosa here last week. Nice, tasty dough, but I wouldn't come back because of the cheese: tasteless, rubbery stuff that made it a chore to eat the whole pizza.

I get a few slices all the time as I live pretty close and it's near my späti. It has that tangy sauce that brings you back to your childhood when you had pizza and it was the best thing in the world. Really friendly family that run the place and they have a bunch of killer stuff to eat... More

Went here after a day exploring Berlin. Big bonus for us was the pizza bases were made with ingredients that were suitable for our daughter who is vegan. We chose to sit inside, seats maybe 15-20 people...we watched the pizzas being made, the pizzas were really good, the service polite and efficient and the place had a nice atmosphere. Would... More

I only took a Buffalina to takeaway but what a wonderful pizza, while I was waiting I saw all different kinds of garnishes that all looked yummy, run efficiently by 3 young and sympathetic Italians. There's a small room with s few tables in the back. To absolutely recommend

Had two lovely hand made pizzas sat in the back room of this pizzeria and I can honestly say they were the best pizzas I have ever eaten.

Had a great meal here really good service and delicious authentic Italian pizza. They also offer a wide range of additional toppings so you can customise your pizza to your hearts content. Good choice of reasonably priced beers too. A great find

I visit Pizza Nostra at-least once a week. It does nothing for my waistline, but lots for my state of mind. Not only is the pizza absolutely delicious, the crust thick and doughy, the toppings rich and tangy... but the crew (or family, as this is a family run affair) are also really, really friendly. To find one in Berlin... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
