Just had dinner. My daughter and I had the salmon. It was good but tiny portions. My husband said chicken was good and my son had a mixed grill which he said was good, not great. For what they charge it should include a starch and veg with your meal but everything is ala carte. We took a taxi to... More

My partner and I visited here after reading reviews. I had the chicken with a Caesar salad and my partner has the ribs with potatoes. Both of our meals were absolutely gorgeous and cooked to perfection. They also gave us free bread and hoummous, which were amazing. Although quite pricey the food was excellent.

Other than the nearby large road there are no grounds for complaint. The food is good and the grilled meats just as they should be.

Atmosphere was perfect, food really high quality and service good. I would recommend this place to any couples, groups, friends etc. It's less of a family restaurant just because it's menu is more 'adult' and probably not very exciting for kids. Four of us had two nice bottles of wine, starters, mains and deserts with lots of side orders and... More

Very enjoyable meal but when the menu advises they charge for tap water you know it's not going to be cheap! It's sat on its own close to a very busy road but is set back enough for it not to bother you and it's canal side location is a bonus.

We were in Berlin for business and found the Rotisserie through Trip Advisor. The food was cooked to perfection, and sitting outside by the canal in the Berlin summer evening was delightful. Highly recommended...

The food was very good, our waitress was nice, and it was an overall great experience. I got the grilled chicken, which really is a whole chicken grilled and cut in half. We also got the chocolate cake, which was heavenly.

Sister restaurant of The Aigner, though very different. This is a modern restaurant and the food was excellent. Two of us had ribs ("fantastic") and I had chicken, the best chicken I can ever remember eating and that is saying something. Lovely and historic location, a very pleasant 15' stroll from Friedrichstrasse, by the canal, near the Foreign Ministry.

Went here based on the good reviews on Tripadviser and was not disappointed. Had the pork belly with beer sauce with a side of mashed potato. Really tasty and filling. Couldn't fit in dessert but the coffee came with a delicious shot glass of mousse/fruit coulis which was perfect. Highly recommend for a pleasant dinner with a great range of... More

On a warm night in Berlin, sitting outside by the canal very peaceful and relaxing. Staff friendly, efficient and attentive. Bread and olives appreciated and tasty. Meals were of a good standard, serving size was reasonable. We managed to secure an outside seat but maybe in high season a booking would be beneficial.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
