One of best Mexican street food in Berlin! I am here for lunch after strolling the areas. Cute place with amazing hospitality, I order Tacos, alahambra or something like that and it was delicious so order more asado and carnitas, i love the carnitas with...spicy sauce here so balance with the fatty carnitas. The ambiance was ok with big street of Berlin, its just like enjoying great street food on the side of busy Danziger.More

As nice as fancy food can look on pictures but I recently realize again that I am way more basic... Great atmosphere, lovely people, affordable and simply good food is what gets my heart beating! 👌🏼 Maria Bonita has all of it... From the little...Spanish lesson at the counter to the happy mood music and the Mexican comfort food I am all sold on this place... This literally is my happy place right now! 🤤🤩😁More

You need to understand going in this restaurant is for a quick bite and not somewhere to sit for hours. That being said the food is delicious! Very authentic in their style and flavors they provide here. I ordered carne asada tacos and thoroughly enjoyed...them. I should have ordered more of them. The location is tiny and with such good food they must always be crowded. I don’t mind that but if you do this may frustrate you. The frozen margaritas are unique as they had orange and grapefruit flavors when I went. I would have preferred them on the rocks vs frozen as they took forever to drink.More

I heard about this place from a travel group and was told repeatedly "it's the best Mexican food in Germany" so I thought we had to try it. It's a cute little place with 4 tables outside for seating and 6-8 stools inside, so very...small! The food itself was ok. The guac and chips was decent but the portion is very small. We tried chicken quesadillas, beef tacos and a pork belly burrito. The tacos were extremely greasy and lacked flavor, the quesadilla wasn't anything special (my 6 year old ate it) but the pork burrito was DELICIOUS! If you find yourself near this place, go just for the pork burrito, it does not disappoint but skip everything else!More

My beef burrito was served on a plate and you were meant to eat it with a knife and fork - there was no way I could pick this bad boy up as it wasn’t wrapped at all. The beef was delicious, flavoursome and tender....There was no rice which I thought was a bit odd. Beans were tasty but basically a purée. The whole combo was nice but a bit like ordering a spicy cottage pie.... The service was really good and enough seating. They don’t have a toilet though so beware if spicy food doesn’t agree with you!More

Seems to be hit or miss from the reiews, but the food and service were very good when we went. It's small. The tacos are street style, not crispy, but the refrieds and chips were Tex-Mex spot on. I thought the prices were reasonable for...Berlin and the portions were substantial. (The cook is from New Mexico.) It's down the street form the Daily Life in the DDR museum, and an easy walk from the Senefelderplatz U-Bahn (line 2). There's also a tram stop in front.More

Food is good , Guacamole and burritos were awesome . The medium rate goes due to the not happy employees on site , They really seem to hate what they are doing and gives you a not nice feeling to be sitting in front of...them with long faces...More

I so wanted some tasty Mexican food during my visit to Berlin 31 Aug-2 Sep 2018. I searched on line and saw that this place had decent reviews so I decided to give it a try. After 40 minutes on public transportation to get to...this place, I was pretty disappointed. Overall, the food was not very tasty and not prepared in the Mexican style that I am know. I thought I would play it safe and order something I am familiar with--a chicken burrito. The beans were horribly soupy and there was barely any chicken in the burrito. Where I am from a burrito generally has lettuce, tomatoes, beans, guacamole, jalapenos, and cheddar cheese--not white cheese which I assumed was mozzarella! Something was off with the tortilla shell too. Just not very tasty. The only saving grace of the meal was the fact that I ordered their chips and guacamole and they were tasty and I am not a huge fan of guacamole. The bad burrito, chips/guacamole, and a beer set me back 16 euros which is a lot for poor Mexican food. Sad to say I didn't get the delicious Mexican food fix that I was hoping for on my visit to Berlin. To make matters worse, I didn't get the full U2 concert fix that weekend either which is the reason I was visiting Berlin. :(More

We were so excited after the starter of tortilla chips with beans and guacamole. Generous portions of guacamole are rare! But when the mains came, the burrito was a wheat tortilla filled with gravy like beans and uncooked sweet potato and the tacos were the...same thing. Couldn’t eat it. So disappointing after a good start. Maybe the meat dishes are better but definitely not for vege peopsMore

We were there for lunch on a sunny Saturday and drunk 2 frozen margaritas which were tasty and perfect for the warm weather. One can choose between a small sized margarita and a large one, the small should be just fine. The Quesadillas were excellent...and filled generously. They were made on spot and took a bit to receive them, yet it didn't matter as we watched the people passing by drinking our margarita.More

No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change
than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists
that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in
the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip
crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were
once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall,
there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have
been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,
