Even in the Corona time good place to visit. Very friendly and open. Good for fast coffee pause. Very close to the park. Good feelings about very authentic atmosphere. So finally good to spend 10-20 minutes in your rush

Average is being nice.... The cheesecake was very light, its like they ran out of the cheese and so they whipped the cream cheese. The blaubeeren mascarpone was very eggy. Common! get it right! They only have one type of milk no alternatives, nothing is...bio (organic), so average what a waste of time. The cakes at the bioladen are better. Very disappointing.More

I always find a reason to visit Mr Minsch; I have been going for many years and it never fails to impress. The cakes are simply incredible; there is a huge variety to select from and each one is crafted with care and creative flair....Be prepared to wait at busy times for a table, or order your cake to go.More

I am here frequently and everytime I find a new amazing cake. The „bakery“ is basicly a „Konditorei“ and offers different cakes and cafe / tee. In-house it s not many places to seat but you also can take away. The staff is very nice....One star less, because no card accepted.More

Really nice cake shop. I tried all the favors available there, and there was none that I disliked. Would recommend this place to everyone. Also they offer delicious vegan cake.

This is cake lover's heaven. There is so much variety, it's almost impossible to decide. I have never been let down by Mr Minsch cakes. The coffee is also really good.

This place was very conveniently located and they have very reasonably priced delicious cakes and pies. I loved the pie with walnuts and cheesecakes are also good. I even got some pie on my way back to my home country. I'd recommend it for friends...and couples mostly.More

Beautiful and delicious pies and cakes. You can also watch them being made. Usually a line but worth the wait!

If you are expecting fancy, pretty cakes/tartes or gringo style bakery/pastries, go get them somewhere else (plenty of places catering for those tastes in cosmopolitan Berlin). Mr. Minsch has the yummiest cakes in the German Kuchen tradition: unfailingly big, tasty, and made to look as...if they came from Oma's kitchen. The ambience is quirky, the service is both friendly and cool, music is good and the cakes are always fresh... moreover, the cakes reflect the season. I love living close to this jewel. Mr. MINSCH ich liebe dich. I only wish they served filtered specialty coffee...More

One of my favourite bakeries in Berlin, serves wide variety of delicious cakes, plus tea and coffee. Staff speak OK English, prices reasonable - about €5 for coffee and cake. I like to come here for breakfast!

Visited with family. Looking forward to coffee & cake after reading great reviews. What a disappointment, the staff member was very rude & unfriendly when we enquired about whether she took cards as well as cash. We decided to leave as frankly, there are many...more cafes in Berlin where you get good coffee, cake & nice helpful staff! This place needs to stop resting on its laurels!More

A few minutes walk from the S- or U- bahn of Yorkstrasse resides a bakery wonder! Though the sitting area has only enough indoor seating for less than 20 patrons, there is also some outdoor sitting or take-away options. The coffee selections are well done...and there are always 15 to 20 different torte/cake selections to choose from -- all wonderfully prepared and equally tasty!More

A lot of people praise it as THE place to have cake at, so I had to try it. I went a couple of times now and though the coffee was always good the cakes were usually pretty dry and nothing out of the ordinary....Simple cakes like the ones my mum does: nice rhubarb/apple/blueberry crumble, good cheesecakes, dry chocolate cake. I would go again cause I really like the terrace. Maybe I should try the advocaat/egg liqueur torte next time cause it seems to be a hit. Staff is definitely not the most friendly, but hey...that's berlin, I'm afraid.More

I come from London so everything seems cheap/good value to me.. but this place serves massive slices of very delicious home-made cakes for a few euros. Service was not exactly welcoming and warm; rather more dour and workmanlike I'd say. Interior decor is fine, nothing...particularly special. But what do you want from a cake shop? Good cakes! And this place has it!More
