Very nice restaurant, but looks more like a bar that serves food, rather than a restaurant. Had goulash soup to start, which was really lovely and tasty. It was such a large portion that I unfortunately had to leave some to make room for my main course. For main I had schnitzel, which again was soooo delicious but another huge... More

Fantastic German food coupled with amazing draft German beers.....what more needs to be said. Friendly staff in a restaurant nestled away from the main streets. Great value for money too !! Five stars

This is a popular pub which serves great beer and a range of good German pub food well cooked and very tasty. The goulash is great ! look out for huge portions! We got in 2 nights without booking but it is busy and certainly at weekends booking would be advised

Very nice little restaurant with authentic german cuisine. Like the beer variety and the plain cooking style. Friendly staff

The food is horrible. I ordered the Wiener Schnitzel, and got three gigantic tasteless so-called "schnitzel" which absolutely ruined all my appetite. My friends ordered some chicken breast and beef sirloin. All were terribly cooked and the waiters were extremely rude, they never even looked at us in the eye and never answered our questions. When we decided not to... More

Having arrived at the restaurant, we were sorted pretty quickly considering how busy the restaurant was, the food was good but not the best that we had in Berlin, but after a long time waiting for our order to be taken we then had around an hour to wait for our food but the food and desserts were worth the... It was a fantastic experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The waiting staff were friendly and suggested us some nice tradition german dishes.

I've already been there with some friends of mine in 2013 and we had a really pleasant time for dinner. I've been back with my girlfriend ( no reservation possibile by Phone ) and I feelt really disappointed. We've been treated extremely rudely by the waiter Who simply told us :'WAIT 10 MINUTES'. After 30 minutes waiting (and many people... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
