What a surprice: yes, they offered veggie currywurst and it tasted very good! It was very funny, when the friendly staff told me, that he had to us a diffent tongue for this kind of sausage - as it should not get in contact with the "meat"sausage! Yes, very well done, guys!

We found this place by coincidence and it was close to our hotel. As we were really hungry we decided to eat a traditional Currywurst. It tasted great, but it could have been more ! ;)

A small take-away with a serving hatch straight out on to the street, we wanted to try a currywurst before we left Berlin and were certainly not disappointed. The young lady who served me was very friendly and spoke good English, and the sausages came in a choice of skinned or unskinned. These were then sliced up for you before... More

I don't like this type of fast food, and less eating standing... But if you need to give your children something to close their mouth quickly, this franchise is a solution.

A very popular place for a light meal/snack. Queue with locals and eat these delicious currywurst outside the shop. With skin on or not and loads of sauce with or without chips these is top food!

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
