Oh this is my favorite brunch joint! The eggs are so yum and they also have American style pancakes!!!! It is great in the summer to sit outside or winter time on their cozy sofas. If you sit long enough then order a wine!!!!!

If your are looking for a rich and tasty brunch, beakers is the place to go! The place is not that big, so it is not always easy to find a table, but the staff is super-polite and always tries (at least in our experience) to find you a spot :) MUST TRY: PANCAKES 😋

Placed in the outer area of berlin we traveled there by train and could find the place just around the corner of Prenzlauer Allee station. The staff is very nice and sympathic, the place looks pretty alternative but very comfortable with little couches and a candle light atmosphere. We picked our menu of a card by ticking certain boxes which... More

This was worth the walk from our apartment. Friendly, welcoming staff. Massively foamy coffees served with a kitsch little biscuit and gummi bears. Moreish pancakes complimented with maple syrup, blueberry compote and a special fruit salad. Very fresh. Walls adorned with interesting rock/metal memorabilia. And all for a very reasonable price - 18.70 EUR for two big coffees, two pancakes... More

We went to Berlin with a couple of friends, we staid in an apartment in the Prenzlauer Berg area and the Beakers Pub was just down the street. We had breakfast every day and every time it was really good. I took the scrambled eggs with toppings you choose from a wide list. A classic. The only trouble we experienced... More

Perfect spot for a lazy Sunday brunch. Choice is limited but everything we tried was delicious! The scrambled eggs with salmon were a peri year highlight. Will be back next time I am in Berlin!

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
