They serve brunch until 4pm, which is very handy for Berlin weekends! I always get the scrambled eggs, which come with salad, fruit and warm rolls. Sometimes the service can be a little slow, but at least the staff are friendly (which for Germany is often not a given!) I've been here several times and had only one forgotten coffee!... More

One of the best breakfast I have had. The service is really polite and fast. I will be in Berlin for a week and I have been there twice already. The food is exquisite, with a lot of different options to choose. I like the way you order, marking some options in a menu. The place is really cosy, even... More

You can have breakfast till 4 pm which I find great after a white night. We had scrambled eggs (a small salad and a warm bun were included) and shared pancakes (fruits were included) and was perfect. With coffee and orange juice: 30 euros. The service was also personalized: first we've ordered pancakes each and the cook came and asked... More

Stopped here on our way to a city walk of Berlin, and it was quite the tasty breakfast place. We ordered the pancakes and they were fantastic. Not the pancakes that we are used too, but fluffier and incredibly good.

I ordered pancakes and had no idea they'd be so tasty. Definitely not the ones, being American, that I'm used to, but they were excellent. The coffee and fruit along with my order were good as well. Very nicely priced and I'd definitely go back if in Berlin again. Maybe later in the day to sample some of their other... More

We went there around 11 on a Saturday, it was not packed yet, in fact it was pretty quiet. Asked for a pancake and an omelette, also a double espresso and an orange juice. The drinks came immediately (though I received a cappuccino instead of espresso and had to send it back). We were hopeful, but then figured out that... More

Oh this is my favorite brunch joint! The eggs are so yum and they also have American style pancakes!!!! It is great in the summer to sit outside or winter time on their cozy sofas. If you sit long enough then order a wine!!!!!

If your are looking for a rich and tasty brunch, beakers is the place to go! The place is not that big, so it is not always easy to find a table, but the staff is super-polite and always tries (at least in our experience) to find you a spot :) MUST TRY: PANCAKES 😋

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
