Everything was quite good: food is good... but it feels that it is overpriced in comparison to other indian restaurants.

We've had an early dinner in Haveli last week and had a very good impression overall. The service is fast but not rushed, the waiting staff is really friendly and the food delicious. We had a serving of duck and one of lamb, both really tasty. The atmosphere is cozy and homely. I definitely recommend it :)

Just returned from this restaurant We enjoyed the food. It was real authentic Indian food We could not fault. Orders onion pakoras which were crispy served with varieties of chutneys. The main course daal and okra were really tasty and went well with cheese Nan. The lady offered us Indian tea which was full of flavours. I would most certainly... More

The food and the service was outstanding. The flavors were just spicy enough to make you feel warm, but without taking away from the flavors. The decor is nothing unique, but don't let that deter you. Easily reached on foot for anyone staying near Ku'dam or in Schönefeld. Some of the best Indian food I have had in a long... More

I have visited Haveli last month with my family. It's the best Indian restaurant. It's food is so delicious. I liked it and enjoyed very much. If anybody visits Berlin, he/she must try the food of Haveli.

The service was also top notch. Would definitely recommend this place. We will definitely return. PS highly recommended Mumbai express cocktails there ;)

The food was delicious, we eat quite often Indian as my partner is Indian, and we can say it is one of the better Indian restaurants we have visited in Europe! The aubergine dish, i forgot the name was sooooooo nice. If I would stay one night more I would go again. The atmosphere is very warm and cosy. Not... More

I spent a long time choosing this restaurant. The location was important because we didn't want to drive too far with a taxi. As it was, about ten minutes from our hotel near Bahnhof Zoo. I liked the location because it is in a sort of residential area with lovely buildings on all sides. No doubt in warm weather, sitting... More

I dined at Haveli twice during my recent visit to Berlin. Good Indian food is one of the things I miss, now that I am no longer living in the UK . . . but Haveli is truly top notch! I loved the Palak Panir - homemade cheese, cooked with spinach and spices . . . delicious! The service, too,... More

It was a wonderful experience to dine at Haveli. Great ambience and food. Loved the samosas! The owners of the place (a couple), made the experience even better and memorable. They are very friendly and humble.

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
