First time in a sushi restaurant and wasn't disappointed. Food was delicious. Prices very reasonable. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Berlin.

We were recommended this restaurant by the staff of the hotel we were staying in and were glad we asked for a suggestion. We love sushi and Surf&Sushi definitely didn't disappoint. While the atmosphere was a little too young and wannabe hip for us we went back after our initial visit as the sushi was lovely and the price was... More

We chose this restaurant for lunch on the basis of reviews. The food was great, lots of great sushi and salad, with Jasmine tea. Perfect after a tough morning at the Museums!

Great value between price and quality of food. They have happy hour every day until 9pm for which you get 2 for 1 or 30% off!

The watermelon drink that I had was delicious! The fish soup was mouth watering! I also had a dish with different types of salmon sushi, it also was good (nothing compare to the soup). I was crazy to have a sushi in Berlin, the Surf & Sushi didn't disappointed. They have a Thailand server who speaks English, what was very... More

The 3 of us just wanted a light evening meal and stopped there because it looked so amazing on our way past. There are a lot of street tables which are great if you like to people watch. We ate indoors and the staff were excellent, as was the food and service. A set meal between the 3 of us... More

This place stayed open late, had incredible deals. Happy hour for sushi, 30% off, and double portion orders!!!! I've been to a lot of sushi places and this has been the best.

Food was very good, sushi and padthai were great, but service was terribly slow and unhelpful, at the end when paying we were told that neither Mastercard or Visa cards were accepted... When traveling you expect this kind of things are clearly stated from the beginning. Cash please!

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
