It's no Wagamama or Banana Tree like back in the U.K., service was curt yet polite and food was good but not amazing. Similar to what most could knock up at home alone.

The thai food that they serve there is absolutely delicious and very spicey. The plates are big so one per person is enough. Enjoy it!

The food was really good, though not authentic thai. I would label this as thai asian fusion. Peanut sauce chicken is my favourite, the basil beef was also very tasty. Kids skewer platter was also given the thumbs up by our child. Would recommend this place. Service was a hit and miss, the first two visits, we had a very... More

An excellent choice if you want a quick, tasty, good value meal without all the restaurant trimmings.

Myself and a friend arrived at the restaurant at 9:20pm on a Wednesday night. It was busy with a nice atmosphere. We were staying at the Mandala Suites across the street and having just arrived in Berlin wanted to eat locally for the night. I have never felt more unwelcomed in entered a restaurant. The waiter told us we had... More

Off the Gendarmenmarkt on Friedrichstrasse, I came across this Thai restaurant whilst looking for a change. It's very busy, the staff are pleasant and efficient, the food is really good, the portions are larger than many Thai establishments. I liked it.

Our food was tasty (although certainly not authentic Thai) and the portions were admittedly generous. But incredibly surly service, extremely slow to both take and deliver your order, and the fact that the waiters seem content to chat amongst themselves rather than serve people that they can see are waiting, mean that I would certainly avoid this place in future.... Description
"cha cha" is a Thai expression that means something like "all will be well", "no stress" or "slowly slowly". For us, the name symbolizes a time out from today's stressful city life. Based on the century-old Thai cuisine, our chefs have developed modern dishes with a "wellness effect". Every dish offered in our "cha cha - Thai Street Kitchen" restaurants serves two purposes: on the one hand, it aims to be tasty and please the palate, on the other hand, the menu also offers choices that address the guest's current bodily needs. For example, he or she can choose among invigorating, cleansing, stabilizing or wholesome dishes.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
