I visited YamYam in February 19 2017, the staff are very friendly. The food is delicious and the portions are huge.

We had to wait and we did not regret it! Once we ordered we were served fast and friendly by the young waitress. Not so used to korean food we got good assistance. Very tasty different dishes, not too sharp but interesting taste. well accompanied by the recommended german white wine. A place to recommend but order the table!

It's very nice for vegetarian. You have 3 choices of bibimbap: beef, tuna and vegi.

I happened to find this restaurant while walking in one of my favourite areas, Mitte. It was around lunch time so it was almost full, but I managed to get a seat. The service was really good, the staff spoke English so it was really easy to communicate. The portions were really big, I couldn't even finish mine. The food... More

We went there for kimchi soup and bibimbab. Really tasty and amazing to warm up during winter. I highly recommend.

As a Korean, I thought the place was just O.K... I thought the food was a bit sweet... we had a beef ramen - hmmm... I think my daughter can cook better. Bulgogi rice was good enough. Mandu was also good. Their Kimchi was actually a real Korean taste so I was happy with that. For a fast food place... More

I love the korean culture but i never ate korean food so I chose YamYam as my first experience because it had some good reviews. And we weren't dissapointed! When we arrived, everyone was very nice and obliging, they immediatly gave us the menu card (we didn't have to wait) and after ordering we got our dishes (and I'm not... More

Been here twice and since I was new to Korean food I appreciated the pictures in the menu though usually it can be a turn off. Not too spicy and not too fancy. The atmosphere is more diner-like so I'd rather go here with friends than say for a date. If you're hungry for Korean then YamYam will not let... More

As the name suggests everything here is "YamYam"! Try the super delicious dumplings. Also loved the Aloenade Drink.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
