Second visit to Berlin. Second visit to YamYam. The food and spice level is great. I can recommend the fish pancake and the spicy soup.

I´m new to Korean cuisine, but this restaurant convinced me to try more! Very good vegetables and meat, with a great variety. Very good service and nice setting. Great value for money!

I've been to this restaurant 3 times and it has yet to disappoint. I love Korean food and this place always hits the spot every time I have a craving. Good service, great tasting food, good portions at average prices. Highly recommend the beef bibimbap!

My husband and I were looking for a quick light lunch spot in Mitte and came across YamYam. We had a look at the menu and saw that they had kimbap which are traditional Korean rice rolls with vegetables and thought "that's perfect for a light lunch" and off we went. Food: YamYam had a lot of great traditional Korean... More

We were on a business trip in Berlin and were staying at a hotel nearby, so this was a frequent stop. So very good, great bibimbap!

A nice Korean restaurant in the center of Mitte. It is a bit cramped and they do a booming lunch business however the food is great and not very expensive. The staff is attentive and helpful if you are not familiar with the Korean food. Most plates are served with kimchi with good flavor. We tried the seaweed soup, dumplings... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
