I have been regularly going to Chen Che since 2011 (about a dozen times). While the service has never been their forte, their fantastic location - which is perfect for dates, business, friend and family - and decent pricing made it to become one of...More

The place is nicely designed with funky Chinese stuff some real and some faux by the looks of it. Me and my partner popped into this tea shop/ restaurant for an afternoon tea and small cake. We ended up ordering a small savory dish and...More

We really enjoyed our meal at Chen Che and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Berlin. The food was very fresh and vibrant and the teas were devine. I wish I lived nearer so I could visit on a weekly basis!!

In beautiful surroundings that are abundant with plants a busy restaurant serving a variety of Vietnamese dishes. The cocktails are delicious and so is the food.

It had been raining and it looked like I wouldn't get a table ... but they dried the courtyard and we filled it up quickly. The food was fresh and beautifully cooked - a good choice of wines too. Two choices were ample for me...More

This restaurant cleverly recreated a little piece of Viet Nam simply in a courtyard setting . Food healthy and generous well cooked proportions . Enjoyed a 2 course meal for 4 for 70 euros including a drink each . Only downside was seemingly too much...More

We have selected this restaurant for our last dinner in Berlin, and were really looking forward to it. Our high expectations, however, were never realized. The atmosphere is pleasant enough and the garden is attractive, but the menu was surprisingly short (3 main course options...More

My friend and I went to Berlin for few days and thought that this place will be a good restaurant. It took us 40 minutes to go to Chen Che and our diner was just whithout any interest. The food is tasteless and the atmosphere...More

They always suffered from indifferent service and chipped crockery, but the the nice garden courtyard at the back and pretty decent food made it an acceptable choice. This time, the food was far below acceptable - none of those fresh, herbal, crispy sensations that make...More

This is the first review I ever write, but it's gotta be done. This place looks promising, packed with people and a nice atmosphere . The food however was a disgrace to Vietnamese cuisine, way to salty and very fatty, my Vietnamese vegetable broth tasted...More

Of course you can go there for dinner with a group. It's not only a tea house. It's winter now so it's probably too cold to sit in their beautiful garden, but it is also nice to sit inside the restaurant.
