A tiny little Thai tapas restaurant where you will get to know your eating neighbours! Its a quirky place but the service was good and the food tasty. Obviously one of the in places to eat for the young and trendy of berlin but that cannot be a bad thing. Interesting and fun times were had.

Been here a few times during my time in Berlin and I think in general the food is excellent. It's reasonably priced, doesn't take long to come and super tasty. They also offer the option of having almost all dishes in vegetarian. One to avoid however is the spare ribs - they're super fatty and just not good. However, the... More

Myself and my husband visited Transit which about 1 minute walk from our hotel. The restaurant was very busy and trendy, a lot of younger diners, however, a nice mix of ages. The food was delicious and infused with flavour- we both ordered 3 small dishes and one to share which was plenty!

I like the tapas concept but the food is not that good. The curry's are a bit tasteless. The ribs are just horrible though. I really don't advice you to take them. The service and ambiance is good.I would recommend at night. Somehow the candles and crowd make the food taste better. But there are a lot of better vietnamese... More

Went there and ate many plates, I can recommend all the ducks plate and calamari without hesitation. My girlfriend has peanut allergy so they replace the peanut sauce in every meal that was with peanut sauce, super customer service. Really good athmosphere, would recommend to any friends.

Excellent food, by far the best asian food I have ever tasted. Very friendly staff. Absolutely going to visit again, if I go back to Berlin! Only minus was the music that was bit too loud for my taste.

Small dishes are perfect. I tried duck with plum sauce rolled in pancakes and cispy chicken on fresh vegetables in coconut milk curry- that was awesome. Fresh and perfectly prepare. The best thai restaurant I have ever been

Let's start with the "service". I actually feel a little bad for the wait staff because it is always overly crowded to the point that the staff has to trample over customers to serve you. When you are finally served, I can't think of a word other than violent to describe their demeanor. Not once have I seen the staff... More

Love this place, the food truly is superb. The loss of a star is just because the last few times I've been they got my order wrong, they were happy to fix it though. The other reason I dropped a star is because the prices just went 50 cents a dish.

The food was really good and I really liked the way you order - using paper checks like in a monopoly game :) Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Visited Transit during Fashion Week so it was very crowdy but this made the atmosphere even better.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
