I was there with 2 friends. We ordered 2 nasi goreng, 1 tucked in, crispy prawn, bali baby, forever young and cozy green curry. I have to say the the large dishes (nasi goreng and tucked in -I loved the tucked in, delicious!-) are not so "large". The other dishes we ordered ared kind of oriental tapas (because they're small... More

What a place. Great value food, small plate €3.50, big plates €8.50. I had a small green curry which was as good as I've ever had and a large Nasi Goreng. Desert was a small but nice pannacotta. You won't be disappointed Cocktails were good too.

Heard about this place from a friend and wanted to check it out. You order from a kind of tick box list with plenty to choose from. We got about 6 dishes and rice and noodles and were overwhelmed by how tasty it all was and the price was more than reasonable. If your in it for attentive serving staff... More

This was right next to our hotel and we tried it on the last night of our visit and it was the best meal we had in Berlin. It's 3.50 for a small, tapas-like dish and we ordered 7 of a variety of beautiful dishes, including crispy prawns and sliced beef. The food was excellent, with the whole concept of... More

I visited this place while I was on holiday in Berlin and I was really impressed. It is a great Vietnamese restaurant, the prices were good, not overpriced unlike other places in that neighbourhood. We tried different small tapas (for 3,50 euro each) at the end we were full and satisfied even about the bill. The only cons was the... More

We visited on a Saturday night, the restaurant had a great atmosphere and was in a great location for a few drinks afterwards. The tapas sized food was fantastic, we ordered 11 dishes and each one was great! Service was quick and friendly. We would definitely go back and would recommend!

Always crowded, when we finally got to try it out, we were very disappointed. Dishes sound very fancy on the menu, but it's actually just standard pan-asian stuff that you can get anywere (probably cheaper and better). Also the portion sizes are quite small and even rice or rice noodles are extra! Not worth the hype.

We had a good dinner at Transit Restaurant. The food was tasty and the prices were reasonable...we had four small dishes and drinks for two of us. We probably could have had one more dish, but left feeling satisfied. The only disappointing part of the experience was that our water cost 6 Euro--more than anything else we ordered. Although I... Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
