Tiny portions, broth was oily and weak. As a pho lover I am thoroughly disappointed. Service was friendly but the food was a let down.

The food is ok. I would rather say it's a streetfood restaraunt, suits a quick and simple lunch. Only if you wouldn't have to line for the lunch for half an hour - this place is hip and overhyped , go for it just to be able to say that you've eateb at Monsier Vuong ( which is not much... More

We were excited about dining here after reading the rave reviews but the food and the service were average. We went for dinner on a weeknight but it was still very crowded. When we went up to ask about getting seated, the host just waved us away to wait on the sidewalk without any instructions. Another waitress then proceeded to... More

Best food on earth, I tried the "menu of the day" some noodles with mango and pork. A little bit spicy. Delicious, I want to go back there! Recommended 100%

Really looked forward to eating here after reading so many positive reviews, but was disappointed. The Vietnamese spring rolls were bland and the chili-coriander dip was mostly fish sauce (didn't taste of either chili or coriander). Really looked forward to trying the pho, but it also was a bit bland (although tasty). Had much better Asian at cheaper places. Staff... More

After getting so many many recommendations about this place we were a bit disappointed. But - it is very nice and friendly resturant. The food is great. So go there - better for lunch when it is less crowded

Fun, lively place, with LOTS of people clamoring for tables. Good service and fairly compact menu. I was kind of hoping for "the best pho I've ever had", but really the pho bo was just good. Nice broth with the cinnamon, but I was expecting some more tart flavors to balance things - basil & lime for example. The beef... More

Perhaps the best Vietnamese restaurant outside Wietnam :-) The food is fresh , colorful and delicious . The atmosphere is hectic at the cozy way and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Delicious drinks , with and without alkoholl .... I've been her many times since 2014 and we will come again and again and again and again and... More

People queueing to get in . Recommended by the staff at our Boarding house. meals came in 2 sizes, suited my smaller appetite. Very tasty food. Would have eaten there again if we had had the time. Loved it. Great service.

We wanted to have something Asian when we arrived in Berlin after a long drive and this restaurant came up from Google or Travel Advisor. This restaurant did not disappoint us. We liked the food including pad thai, salad and shrimp rolls. Somewhat different from US style, but it was very good. And very cheerful and kind people working there.... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
