Whenever passing by this place - people were waiting in lines to be seated ! Now I know why. The food was absolutely delicious . I ordered the special of the day : coconut curry , tender chicken, steamed veggies and roasted cashew nuts on rice. Rich flavours and perfect combination of spices ... Couldn't have wished for anything better... More

Monsieur Vuong has already for quite some time been one of the more famous restaurants in Berlin – a go-to place for tourists and locals alike. And for me, too!The food is consistently very good, with a small but varied menu. The ingredients have always been of a very high quality at every visit I've had there, and especially the... More

We have been living in Berlin for a year and have never been able to get into Monsieur Vuong because they don't take reservations and the wait is always so long, well tonight we lucked out and I see why there's a line. The service was great, they spoke English and were really friendly. I had the tofu Pho and... More

This is always an event to go to "Vuong" - small but very nice place in Mitte. You have to wait a little bit to get a seat, but it is totally worth it. every dish is fantastic - starter, soup or main course. Mango desert is my favorite!

Good asian food, the spicy redbeet salad, the soup and the cranberry ice tea were really good. The daily dishes offer a big variety. Nice busy place

Had two dishes off the daily specials menu (not by myself). Both were fantastic and the service was very good. Seems like the place is always busy and after eating there it's understandable why.

Granted it was a crowded August afternoon, but service was slow even for Berlin. Pot stickers were very good, pho was pretty good. We had two vegetarian one one pork. The pork was the better of the dishes.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
