Considering location, design, and quality of food, it's hard to find a better deal. I recommend this place. Few things to note: it's salty. This appeases local taste. Vietnamese food should not and is not as salty as this. Service is hit or miss, because it's very busy all the time. I personally cannot stand being shoved to a table... More

We originally planned to go for ramen however the restaurant we chose had a 1 hour wait and someone in the line recommend Monsieur Vuong as a great alternative if we had our hearts set on noddles of some variety. It did not disappoint--we waited about 15 minutes and were in for fresh, delicious vegetarian pho and cheap beer. Great... More

My visit to Berlin wont be complete without paying homage to this resto. Finding it is not a hassle since its close to the U-Bahn. The ambience provides you the Vietnamese vibe - the same warmth as soon as you sip the hot broth of any of its famous noodle soups. They have a very "compact" menu which makes the... More

Monsieur Vuong remains my favourite place for Asian (mostly Vietnamese food). The food is simple but very authentic and tasty. While the place itself is super cozy but the staff is very friendly and helpful to get you seated

Boring food at high prices served to potato eaters who couldn't tell the difference between good Asian and bad if their life depended on it. Snobby service to boot!

We arrived to our hotel o Friday at 22:30 and looked for a place that is still open. We found this place and it was perfect for light dinner, the soup was exactly what we needed. The only problem was the service, the staff was mainly getting ready to close the place and we had to get their attention in... More

Service was perfect, meal was not at all expensive but delicious and arrived quickly. Good options for a veggie/vegan but plenty meat choices also! So glad we chose it as our final restaurant stop in Berlin because it was relaxed the night before a flight.

Monsieur Vuong is a cool little restaurant with great food and great cocktails, this is a cool place to have a great, healthy hot dish on a rainy day We will definitely come back BTW: Ordering the small dish is definitely enough for one person

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
