This place must always be crowded but the turn over is fast and there don't seem to be lines. I sat at the bar. The service was quick and helpful. The food was tasty and well presented and the drink was too.

Really nice. Good food and service. Quality all way thru. We had the noodles and it tasted like in Vietnam. The kids really liked both the food and the atmosphere.

It was good food no where near great. We sat outside and the table was quite dirty and sticky. The food was cheap but better than one would expect. It seemed fresh and the kitchen was putting out a lot of food. Avg for a big bowl was about 9 euros. Beer was about 4 euros. The food came out... More

We went there twice during our visit to Berlin, I love this food, the staff are very friendly and highly efficient. Don't forget to try their cocktails, yummy and very interesting presentation. Hip Vietnamese mixed with modern healthy eating. Choice of small or large bowl of serving. Very reasonable prices. Dinner and cocktails for five people costs us less than... More

This was our second time here and it didn't disappoint. It is still crowded, but we came late for lunch. Service was swift and pleasant, the asian food was tasty and freshly prepared, and it was perfect for a quick lunch.

Came here with high expectations due to the reviews and was greatly disappointed. The noodles were not even the traditional Vietnamnese noodles. The soup base was bland compared to true Vietnamnese pho. Should've known when everyone inside was expat. For a westernized pho it was edible.

Monsieur Vuong was recommended by my hotel the restaurant does not take reservations which was ok; most seating is communal so if your alone or in a small group you could be sitting with others. I found this to be fine it was a nice experience. The place has a very busy atmosphere and is full of young people sitting... More

Got a table for lunch without booking in advance. Drinks and food came really quickly. I ordered a large soup bowl, and it was the size of a small bathtub. Excellent.

Monsieur Wuong is a busy restaurant located in Mitte (not far from Alexander Platz). You may have to wait a few minutes to get a table. Options are limited on the menu but everything (phô / salad / curry...) is fresh and tasty. Cocktails and red Madiran were also delicious. Portions are quite substantial but dishes are healthy and vegan/vegetarian... More

Monsieur Wong truly lived up to the recommendations and the "hype" that we had heard about before. Right next (literally) to our AirBnB-apartment and also very close to the main streets of Mitte, Wong is a nice place to start your evening. Good service, excellent food for a nice price and friendly staff. Would recommend to sit outside to soke... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
