Staff don't realise that customer service means to be polite & respectful to the customer, however Cafe Fleury staff prefer to be rude and very unpleasant. Angry & stressed staff will be abrupt, your food will be dropped on your table and there is no customer service here. AVOID THIS CAFE!!

This place is made for afternoon coffee or glass of wine. It's situated in Mitte but in a calm street and you can enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of Berlin over a glass of Chardonnay and olive cream with bread.

Went for breakfast. Good variety but we all had omelettes. You could choose bacon cheese tomato etc. Great fresh orange and coffee. Cheery atmosphere.

Good Croissant but Latte was not hot enough. Never mind, I had neither and the cheese omelette was excellent. Cosy atmosphere (freezing outside) and good service.

Went for breakfast here as we were staying nearby. Staff came across as seriously moody and uninterested when we placed our order. The lady walked off halfway through me giving her the order, laughably bad service. Took ages to get our coffees and then breakfast itself was very mediocre, especially the small slab of omelette. Tried to get some attention... More

We went to Fleury twice for late breakfast and tried Baguettes, Salads and Quiches and everything was delicious and magnificent! Rich taste, great flavour and simple, but very tasty arrangements. The place is very small and very busy, but the staff is very charming and the orders arrive fairly quickly. It was a perfect start into some days of exploring... More

This is a nice small place; you place your order at a counter, and they bring you the food. I had a good croquet monsieur and a salad; it was a good spot to sit and relax and enjoy the neighborhood.

We ate there every morning we were in Berlin. The fare is excellent. Outside seating as well. Loved it.

The vegetarian lentil soup was the best we've ever had, with hints of curry adding to the depth. The blue cheese, pear, walnut salad had generous portions of cheese and pear and an excellent dressing. The four cheese quiche had a flavorful mix of cheeses and a salad with a light vinegrette dressing. Go to the counter to order, they... More

Visited for a breakfast here, quite a simple menu but the food and coffee were both good. Nice place for a relaxing start to the day

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
