Went here for brunch on a Sunday morning during a recent trip to Berlin. Off the tourist trail but definitely worth checking out. We were lucky with the weather in March so were able to sit at one of the tables outside. Ideal for people watching and once you have a table its not given up lightly. Very popular place.... More

A lovely café near The Circus Hostel (where everybody should stay). I enjoyed my lemon tart and tea. Vielen dank.

Slow...too slow...zzzzz.... The café has a very delivery cious style and also the menu is quite rich with different tasty specialties with french charming. But the service is embarrassing. Ok, the place was full at lunchtime but I waited more than 30min to have the menu. Than other 30 min to receive my sandwich... that was the wrong one. Don't... More

We got food to go, but did enjoy a couple of glasses of cider while waiting. I had the sheep cheese quiche with salad and boyfriend had the salad fleury. We also had a cheesecake. The quiche was delicious, the dressing for the salads were nice, and the salads were fresh. My boyfriend didn't find the salad very substantial and... More

Excellent breakfast. Self service... You order and get the food to the table by waiter. We took the Vegetarian breakfast (there are 2 types... 1 with egg and 1 with mozzly) and the food was absolutely great. Fresh, tasty and highly recommended.

Nice location, I can't relate to the hypo tho, because the food is not that spectacular to be honest. Usually really full, so self-service makes it a bit rushy...

Me and my boyfriend who are vegeterians went there for breakfast and had the most delishious croissants and good coffee. We also ordered some omelettes who originally had bacon in them but asked to skip the bacon which was no problem but it seems the chefs forgot to skip it and the order took a really long time. My boyfriend... More

For the past week, this has been my "go to" for amazing breakfasts, coffee break, lunch or just a beverage while sitting outdoors watching the people pass by. Reasonably priced and great food.

Staff don't realise that customer service means to be polite & respectful to the customer, however Cafe Fleury staff prefer to be rude and very unpleasant. Angry & stressed staff will be abrupt, your food will be dropped on your table and there is no customer service here. AVOID THIS CAFE!!

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
