We where there with my friends for brunch. We made a reservation for a table for 4. There was only a guy responsible for the service. Well this was obviously very stressful, but this guy was extremely rude. First thing was his reaction to my last name. Probably it wasn't german enough for him, so he decided to make some... More

I had a great lunch here. Not knowing what I was really ordering I was really happy to have a salad and then potatoes with cauliflower and broccoli topped with baked cheese and some nice very fresh tasting tomatoe sauce. Yummy. This place had good music playing and seemed to be a definite popular place in the area. It has... More

This place has absolutely best prices ever for drinks! Even though we did not like its location so much and the staff was not so switched on. They were not unfriendly but having finished your drinks since 15 minutes in an almost empty place an noone comes by to ask you if you wish a second one...

We went to the restaurant spontainly for a late dinner and some beer. We were happily suprised by the dinners quality! We had the chili chicken and the creamy pork with mushrooms. It was tasty, fresh and had a attractive look when the waiter put it on the table. The service was satisfying. He was the only waiter in the... More

Visited with my boyfriend whilst visiting Berlin. He had an Oriental Mixed grill which was very tasty and a healthy portion. I had linguini with large shrimps; they really were large and very tasty and meaty. I would definitely visit here again and without a doubt recommend it.

Had a great meal here - from starter to finish. Beetroot soup was delicious followed by fresh tzatziki. The vegetarian couscous was top quality. It was really well done. Friendly service. It was full but the server did not leave anyone waiting. Fabulous!

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
