The most friendly german welcome i have ever had in a restaurant. All the staff were genuinely (and not cheesily) lovely, smiling and joking with all the customers, and made me feel like a local. The food is exceptional. Light schnitzel! And for the smaller eaters - you can get half portions, which is defintiely more than enough for a... More

My daughter and I were spending a couple of days in Berlin to attend a gig and as we wanted to get the most out of the trip, we put a lot of thought into what we wanted to see and where we wanted to eat. This place had gotten such good reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided to give it... More

The tapas was good and you only have to choose the 6 tapas menu. It tastes good and was fairly cheap. When you are seated you get a free (and small) welcomme beer which is a Nice way to start the evening. If you do not like beer, they serve both alchoholic and non-alchoholic cocktails. We were sitting outside which... More

So great we ate here twice! Had to try more of the choices! Delicious schnitzel. Loved the Jaegerschnitzel and Bavarian Schnitzel!! Great casual atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Very busy place both nights - recommend reservations on Open Table. From the "welcome beer" to dessert, this was a wonderful dining experience!

The place is placed near a river, in a quiet place. Friendly waiters, good food. German Tapas are a good option to try many things at once, but if you are really hungry it's better to order schnitzel. Prices are in a middle range, so the place isn't cheap, but not so expensive too.

Lovely local restaurant with a nice tapas concept for people that want to try more than one dish or if you want to pick whilst enjoying a good glass of beer. Tapas starters with small dishes enough for a taste for two people and bigger than average mains. The breaded meat ( schnitzel ) was succulent and enough for two... More

A good inexpensive place for a small group to meet up and enjoy a meal together. Good food - if not especially exciting - a nice relaxed atmosphere. We were a table to six which was perfect - the table was small enough that we could all join in conversations together. Staff were lively and welcoming.

The place to go for a good Schnitzel. The name of the restaurant says it all. There is a really good choice of Schnitzel. The restaurant also caters for vegetarians with a parmesan risotto Schnitzel. The good traditional Austrian fare goes down well with the general public. Start off your meal with a selection of starters offering all kinds of delicacies. The staff are great. So too are the rectangular lamps on the walls which are even used as candleholders. The wine selection is very good.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
