A family run restaurant for more than 6 decades with home made pasta and pizza. Menu has everything for everybody -- kids and adults. Staff makes amazing recommendations and goes such the extra mile to please. Desserts are homemade and amazing. And prices are so reasonable for the value. It's a must go if you are in Berlin. On a... After a hectic day being a tourist, I wanted somewhere quiet to eat away from the crowds, and this filed the bill a treat. The waiter service was friendly, but not rushed. When a (Italian?) couple walked by with a suitcase and small child, several people (including the owner?) spend several minutes trying to help them locate their hotel. I... More

This restaurant is just off a busy shopping street and offers a place to unwind and enjoy good food at a reasonable price I had a good pizza which used fresh and delicious produce

We popped in to Latino around 9 on a Saturday night, the friendly waiter then asked us kindly to wait a moment as he had a large booking coming in which were late, he then moved the restaurant around to make space for us. He was friendly all though way through even though he was busy!. The food was also... More

It's a very popular place where you can meet all the local people and therefore you should reserve a table if you want to eat here. The food is great and they love to add garlic. The "house wine" type Chianti is a little bit sweet.

We were afraid to try an Italian restaurant in Germany, seeing as it's not known for variety in food culture. But one of my criteria to try a new restaurant is that it's at least half-filled, and this one was. It was walking distance from our hotel, and that made it a worthwhile stop. I'm glad we went in. The... More

Having checked into our hotel early evening and being Christmas time we thought we would try and find a restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. Most of the restaurants were full - Christmas parties - and we were sadly left with little option but to venture in to Latino. A very mediocre and up exciting meal - we could... More

We went here on a Saturday evening with a group of 8 people. When we arrived (on time), our reserved table was not ready and we were left standing at the entrance for ten minutes. After getting seated, it took forever to bring the menus. After having placed the orders, we waited another 45 minutes for the starters to arrive,... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
