we googled 'the best German restaurant in Alexanderplatz' and were definitely not disappointed, absolutely gorgeous food, so tasty. My grandson had the Berlin platter 'I think) I had braised veal cheeks, so stuffed afterwards.

This place is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, we loved the garden, the food was also very good, and not expensive, one of the best places to eat.

Typical German kitchen in one of the oldest building of Berlin, within the German restaurant district, close to the Ferhensehn tower and the Spree river. Not to miss, should you want to eatbratwursten und schnitzens.

We have been to a lot of restaurants of german food in berlin but so far this is the best. Our order was: the lamb, the Pork, the german saussage and a beer soup. The lamb was my personal favorite with the beer soup both...are awesome. The Pork and the saussage were very good too!!!More

Such a welcoming atmosphere, we sat at the bar for a bit before dinner and the bartender was very friendly. The food was delicious and arrived quickly! Service was second to none we did really feel welcomed and well looked after. I even had strawberry...wine which was delicious! Thank you for making our last night in Berlin a great experience!More

It's pretty German in here. Wooden tables in a staid old building - people come out and go home early compared to most places especially Spain and France. The food was good! You couldn't do German every night I think - all that sausage and...carbs - but delicious, well presented and well priced. I had sausage, potatoes and sauerkraut, and Mrs Miniman had calf liver. Very nice bottle of German red wine, which we don't get much exposure to in the UK (apparently because the Germans keep it for themselves and I don't blame them) and the Berlin peppermint liqueuer which I hadn't had before, and I can't say I will again.More
