Great pasta dishes with good prices. We had the lasagna and the spaghetti with pesto!! The service was great and the desserts amazing!! If you are in the checkpoint Charlie area and are not sure where to eat this is a great place !

Just round the corner from checkpoint charlie, we enjoyed fab pizza's! Be prepared for a little wait for service, but as they say good food takes time!

Top quality, you can taste an excellent variety of Italian dishes (pasta, pizza and dessert...) for a low price. Very high quality/price ratio. A must try. Just two bus stops away from Postdamer platz. I highly recommend it.

Very good location and easy to find, after dining in Brussels the night before and elsewhere in Berlin this place was very reasonably priced in comparrison. The mushroom pasta special I had was very nice, would definitely go back

We chose this restaurant because it has quite a high overall rating but didn't find it that good. The pasta was overdone & a few of the dishes were bland (spaghetti agile olio for example). Service was friendly.

We went twice and had great pizzas on our first lunchtime visit. Crisp bases, not too thick, and good toppings. Went back for dinner and were disappointed. Lasagne was mostly layers of pasta with a warm sauce poured over the top - certainly not baked. Generally not enough staff, but those there tried hard.

Incredibly friendly people who did an excellent job learning me some Italian! The pizza's were very thin, they were just perfect.

We chose this restaurant as it was close to our hotel (Adina Checkpoint Charlie). Based on Trip Advisor reviews we had mixed feelings, but we had a good meal here. Whilst initial service is slow (seems to be the Berlin thing), after this it was swift for Berlin and the Pizza was very good. We stuck with that based on... More

When the wait or showed us our table it took them 15 minutes to bring a menu card. Then about 45 minutes before they took our order. The food came rather quickly though, but when we wanted to pay - it to about 45 minutes before the bill arrived. And we only had to ask for the bill about 3... More

Went to this restaurant because it was up the road from where we were staying - Adina apartments (super by the way) . It was pretty busy outside, quiet inside. We were shown to a table outside and gave our drinks order. Drinks came relatively quickly. We were then asked for our food order!!!!!!! We tried to order quickly but... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
