From a Chilean client, i started by assuming that i would find service in spanish since it's advertised as a Latinoamerican Restaurant, and there was limited to hola and gracias. Like City Pension, I have been coming to this restaurant for so many years now and look forward each time I am coming back to Berlin to visiting it because it has very good food for very good value. I have only in my experience had 1 problem at the restaurant. It is a South American restaurant with menus in... More

We chose this place at random when we were with a couple of friends and wanted a light meal. We chose the tapas plate to share. This was plenty for the 4 of us and was very tasty and varied. The staff were great fun, especially when they realised we were 2 English and 2 Germans - we had a... More

If there are two of you and you have time to enjoy a leisurely lunch, I would order the special Tapas plate. It's quite good and includes a bottle of fairly good wine for only 25 Euro. It's a good value. The other dishes are also good. The specialty of the restaurant seems to be the empanadas even though I... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
