Great place for breakfast or lunch. Calm and quiet. You can eat good sandwiches, salads, lasagnas and other taisty things. They offer also great tee and coffee

Fresh food and friendly service for five hungry wandering tourists on a Saturday early afternoon. Salad bar is by weight; good salad selection. Spinach lasagna was 5/5. Broccoli curry was mighty tasty too.

We were wandering through the neighborhood and found this restaurant. It met our need as we are vegetarians. The food is fresh, tasty and feels very homie. The server was also helpful in answering our questions.

Nice cafe with healthy choices, lunch salads looked amazing. A bit pricey but that's what you need to pay for healthy options. Amazing coffees!

We were looking for somewhere to lunch and, as my wife and son are vegetarian, when I saw the Bio Bistro sign we decided to try the restaurant out. It was after 1.30 and nearly empty at this point but the first hurdle, once we had put our coats and bags at a table, was to ascertain if it was... More

We had a few delicious breakfasts here during our stay in Berlin. The food was fresh and delicious. Service was very good and sitting at the tables in the sun was a delightful way to start the day.

The food was delicious and beautiful. We stopped here on our way to Checkpoint Charlie. We stopped because the people outside looked happy and the food looked good. It was a great find! I would go out of my way to eat here again! This is not a tourist restaurant. It is plain old good food.

Walking to the Judisches Museum on Linden Str from Checkpoint Charlie takes you away from any nice little bijou coffee shops and restaurants. We were delighted to stumble across this little gem when we least expected it and needed it most. A very good choice of salads selected from the serve yourself salad bar and paid for by weight. Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
