Stopped in for dinner on a Sunday evening, we were the only ones there. Note this is now two restaurants: one casual in the deli with 4 tables and a more formal dining room next door. We sat in the cozy casual area with the...More
We ordered Fish Plate for 2 which is 22,5 EUR each person. And we were surprised how much they came to us with. We enjoyed all the delicious seafood -4 different kinds of fish plus vanamei-shrimps, and fresh vegetable salad and potatoes. A lot of...More
We called to reserve and I insisted on my husband making them know that we were coming with a baby. We went there eating on a sunday afternoon, we arrived a little earlier than our reservation, they didn't allow us to sit to wait till...More
Where do I start. They screwed our order and bought out a some complimentary food which was nice.... but cold.... including cold chips. Order came, 2 cod were fine but the 3rd was totally understood.... I guess they were rushed to get our food out....More
The fish is indeed fresh and tasty. but my advice: buy the fish and run. the service is so unfriendly that it will ruin your day. and the staff is so busy chatting that you will have the feeling to intrude a private party.
Amazing fish soup! Even a small portion is enough ;) oysters 👌The waiter was polite and helpful!
For a main dish we ordered the Fish Tower: fish&chips was very delicious, but everything else... Super duper over salted!! People, take two beers for sure XD And...More
Excellent fish & chips! We ordered the big platter for 2 and were not disappointed. Portions are huge and it's a real bargain for the price (although we are Parisians, so our opinion might be slightly biaised). Everything is fresh and cooked before your eyes....More
If you're at all used to fish and chips from a decent chippy in the UK, then please don't bother coming here. We were very disappointed. Nearly 13 euros for a small dry piece of fish in hard stale batter, with chips that seriously wouldn't...More
This is a combination of fish shop and restaurant. One can take the fish or shell fish home or have it cooked in-house. Of course there is a regular menu of standard dishes that they offer on a regular basis. One can also just pick...More
As a Brit living in Berlin, I was very excited to find a restaurant serving proper fish and chips, and it certainly did not disappoint! The fish was very fresh and excellently cooked, the restaurant was lovely inside, with a nice outside seating area too....More
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,
thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
