This was basically just pasta and meat, similar to what you'd serve your 4-year old kid who is extremely picky with food. Some of the worst food I've received in a restaurant. The service was not good (they were neither nice or attentive), food took a long time and I'd rather have eaten at the currywurst place next door even... More

Great food served from a top end hotel restaurant without too much pomp, prices are a bit steep against local place but comparable to similar hotels.

Had breakfast here for several days. Usual buffet style that one gets in hotels. Was busy on some days thanks to a Chinese tour group. Had to catch the waiter's attention for teas. Birchermeusli was very good, as was range of fruits.

HEat restaurant is part of the Raddisson Blu hotel Berlin. Having stayed at various hotels in Berlin I dare to say the breakfast at HEat is the best in town, even amongst the better breakfast buffets I have enjoyed the last couple of years. Great variety of foods and great service, the breakfast is worth staying for at the Raddisson... More

Good food for being part of the hotel. Reasonable prices. Skip the breakfast buffet, over priced. Service was good.

Booked a table here as I was staying at the Awesome Radisson Blu. We were not informed of Earth hour, which unfortunately left the menu very limited, disappointed we left for another restaurant. I must add that the restaurant did send a fruit platter to our room as way of an apology hence why I did not issue a bad... More

As hotel restaurants go this is quite good. The steaks are very tasty. Some of the best we have had. My gripe - it's all a bit staid and lacks atmosphere.

The best place for a lunch in the middle of the German capital. The salmon with wasabi is very good and the prices are really nice. The restaurant is in the Radisson Blu Hotel so it has an elegant atmosphere :) the aqua dome is a must see.

We were staying at the Radisson Blu so thought we'd eat in on the first night. It was an excellent choice, odd mix of food types but should suit most people. We went for the tandoori - chicken & fish - both were delicious. Very friendly staff who suggested a lovely German Riesling to accompany the food. Can highly recommend

Warm friendly ambience, modern decor and a wood fired oven are the setting for either a traditional schnitzel dinner or delicious chicken tikka. Amazingly it works!

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
