We had a private company dinner here and it was very smooth. They were bringing 2-3 small dishes, to share. And they kept coming. Everything, but the ravioli, was very tasty. The ravioli was undercooked and tasted a little bit funny. The wine was good and service was fast and with a smile. The apple dessert was to die for!!!!

Great restaurant. The food was high quality, steak was superb. Quantity was high, staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Service was a little slow as they had a large party indoors that night. Definitely receommend it.

After a sweltering train ride into Berlin and a torrential downpour upon arrival, we were the first people at the restaurant and it was a sanctuary of sensual surroundings and sensational food. Service was also excellent, with our server providing helpful descriptions of each dish and offering considered wine pairings. We ordered a selection of eight dishes, including the rib-eye... More

This was a little gem right inside the Grand Hyatt Hotel. We dined here the night we arrived, encouraged by the small plates menu. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was very tasty. The soup and the smoked fish platter with dill sauce were extremely tasty! This is a casual wine bar/ small plates type of restaurant.... More

We had just arrived in Berlin and wanted a quick good value lunch. We found what we were looking for at Mesa. Soup and a first class salad bar (which included warm strips of steak) for about 12 Euros - and in a 5 star hotel.

We went for dinner and the food was good, even though the portions were extremely small (therefore a bit pricey for the amount). Not so many vegetarian options unfortunately, but the food was nice and tasty, and the staff friendly and nice food and the place cozy!

The food and the service are excellent. The menu showcases small plates of German cuisine that can be shared. There is a separate kids menu. The restaurant is located within the Hyatt hotel which is itself very centrally located near the Sony centre.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
