Had an mazing New Years Eve dinner at the Mesa restaurant at Grand Hyatt Berlin. I was particularly impressed not only by the quality of the food, but also by the quantity. The menu was the same for all the guests, but it included an amazing variety of dishes and correspondent wine. Waiters kept pouring us wine, they weren't stingy... More

Tasty food and great service in this cosy restaurant. Wanted to try some Knopfle and it was delicious. A mix up with my booking meant they kindly gave us our first drinks complimentary.

Small restaurant on Postdamer Platz, really cosy. We enjoyed local food with great service and generous portions, and really good price/quality balance. Definitely worth a try ;)

Very tasty food and great service. We had a starter to share and we both had steak and wedges, with the wild mushroom sauce (pure awesomeness). Deserts are good too!

While staying at the Grand Hyatt Berlin (Please see also review) for one night in April 2016 we went to Mesa for dinner. We liked the sharing concept and the design of the venue by Tony Chi. It had very high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. Shelves provided some privacy. The dark furniture was elegant and understated. Staff was... More

We had a private company dinner here and it was very smooth. They were bringing 2-3 small dishes, to share. And they kept coming. Everything, but the ravioli, was very tasty. The ravioli was undercooked and tasted a little bit funny. The wine was good and service was fast and with a smile. The apple dessert was to die for!!!!

Great restaurant. The food was high quality, steak was superb. Quantity was high, staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Service was a little slow as they had a large party indoors that night. Definitely receommend it.

After a sweltering train ride into Berlin and a torrential downpour upon arrival, we were the first people at the restaurant and it was a sanctuary of sensual surroundings and sensational food. Service was also excellent, with our server providing helpful descriptions of each dish and offering considered wine pairings. We ordered a selection of eight dishes, including the rib-eye... More

This was a little gem right inside the Grand Hyatt Hotel. We dined here the night we arrived, encouraged by the small plates menu. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was very tasty. The soup and the smoked fish platter with dill sauce were extremely tasty! This is a casual wine bar/ small plates type of restaurant.... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
