The beef salad, the sate as well as the coconut soup were very delicous, the two curries we had as main course I would still rate as good but were a bit tame.

I have been to at least 3 other Thai restaurants in Berlin, but this one is the best in terms of authentic and tasty food. Excellent Tom Yam Kung with strong lemongrass flavour and tender shrimps (if I close my eyes and just taste I feel like being in Thailand), tasty duck, great chicken wings, perfect rice. With nicely chilled... More

I was a tourist and looked forward to eating here after reading reviews. But I found food a bit bland. Absolutely no spiciness -- which I guess is catering to 'tourists' that is most people don't like it hot. But bland is not the opposite! Really disappointed.

Hello Dust S, we are little bit amazed at your rating. Possibly you had selected the wrong dish. Please try another dishes or ask the waitress for the right selection next time. Our guests love the taste of our fresh vegetables, herbs and Chili ;) Your Taleh Thai More

I found this restaurant based on feedback on Tripadvisor. I'm glad that I made a reservation as all tables where reserved when we arrived. It's a bit tucked away from city centre, but it took us only about 5 minutes with taxi from Alexanderplatz. The staff was friendly and service was great. We had 3 apertizers, 2 main course, a... A cozy restaurant with the best Thai dishes I've had in a long time. We had several appetizers, pad Thai, and curries. It restaurant is tucked away just outside the core downtown area but so worth the visit.

Awesome food! The quality difference between this and any other thai restaurant in Berlin is huge. Also the staff is friendly and attentive. The place is not specially well decorated but, who cares! Food is awesome!

At Taleh Thai they have all your favourites and also some surprices. Try the chicken in spicy banan leaves with plumsauce, very tasty. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the service is frinedly and polite. We have been there twice and had very good food both times.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
