A range of delicious flavours (sesame, peanut and cranberry, cheesecake, walnut). Even the Bourbon Vanilla was a strong flavour. Lovely people too.

After we read a recommendation on the Lonely planet and on trip advisor We tried to visit Caramello first time on October but it was closed for holiday... Second time we came back on August especially to Caramello from the other side of Berlin, as we are big fans of good ice cream. As big as our expectations, our disappointment... More

Around 20 different flavors, being half of them vegan (not only fruit ones but also more elaborated ones with rice/soy milk). All the cones are vegan as well. 1,20 per scoop

We were on vacation in Berlin & of course my wife, who is completely vegan, wanted to find something special foods & snacks for vegans from the capital city of Vegan Europe. We found this tiny but so fantastic ice cream bar, where you can find so many different dessert choices for vegans. I remember how her eyes shined like... More

We return to this small ice cream shop regularly. If we eat in some of the restaurants nearby, we sometimes skip the dessert to have a sweet treat here.

Really nice place for special ice cream. Carry some awesome selections that you don't get everyday, like vegan lavendel-mulberry ice cream.

We had some ice cream from here to take away after our meal and really enjoyed it! It was very creamy and there were loads of flavours. It was very reasonable too :)

Tasteful icecreams (and decent espressos) in a lively neighbourhood with very few tourists to be seen.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
