In one of my journey to Berlin I came across this place, that was highly recommended everywhere. What I found was not what I expected: it was better. Everytime I come back to Berlin, it has now become for me a must to visit Ataya....The evironment is warm and friendly, makes me feel comfortable just like home. The food is an interesting fusion of african/italian, it is healthy, delicious and freshly cooked. There is a lot of attention for the details, in full respect of the environment. The owners are happy and friendly people. If you have an open heart, if you are not just looking for a place to park yourself, you will love it too. I highly recommend it to everyone.More

Excellent menu top to bottom. Great selection of vegan and gluten free bowls. The dishes are very tasty with many surprising culinary creations. The ingredients are fresh ,organic and homemade. I never had such a delicious vegan meal. We had an homemade Ravioli bowl and a...huge Jollof plate with fried plantains on the top we took the most delicious Vegan tiramisù ever! Also their coffee it’s great ,they only offer OATLY milch.(which is a big plus!) The restaurant itself it’s lovely arranged with ecofriendy furnitures and African influences, very bright and with plenty of plants. It’s a no WiFi area which I find great! The owners are two amazing humans ,ready to make you happy.More

This place it’s run by an amazing African-Italian couple , passionate about their work ,...you can feel that once you enter in this little restaurant. There is so much care , plants are everywhere, books and magazines to read while you are enjoying great music and vibes. Thanks Ataya people you are doing a great job!More

I visited AtayaCaffe already quite some time for lunch and breakfast in the past and was curious for the dinner, so we went yesterday to try it out and I was not disappointed 😍 First of all the atmosphere was as always super cozy and...friendly and we felt very welcomed by the lovely team. Then we tried the food - I have to say I am a passionate cook myself but my food does not come even close to the tastefulness of AtayaCaffes food. I had the Ravioli, which I can absolutely recommend. They are simply delicious! My boyfriend hat the Hummus Platter which is full of awesome and fresh ingredients and offers, in my opinion, the best Hummus in town. We finished with the homemade Tiramisu which is simply amazing - you really should try it! For drinks the place offers a variety of Italian wines as well as the usuals drinks like tea and lemonades for a very fair price. I had the Italian rose wine and it was really good. I can highly recommend attayacafe will definitely come back very soon!More

No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change
than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists
that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in
the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip
crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were
once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall,
there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have
been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,
