If you are walking in the Nikolaiviertel neighborhood and get hungry....this is a good place to go for a traditional German well served meal. Menu is short, but dishes are enormous, well prepared, mostly with heavy meat...pork, sausages, beef. Go with the most traditional ones....More

This restaurant is mostly targeting the tourists but the food is good and copious and the location unbeatable. The locally brewed beer is quite good. The one drawback is staff that is nice but not very attentive or responsive and is very pushy to get...More

We chose this restaurant at the last minute based on the large number of people eating there. Glad we stopped. Service was very good and the portions were very large. Wide selection of meals on the menu. Two great beer choices made on site. Prices...More

Very nice location (beautiful building by the river). But the food was ok, not so big of a portion and average quality. They don’t have a big selection of beer and service was poor (yes, waiter was slightly rude and pushed us for a tip).

We stopped in this bar for a drink, I had the misfortune to order a Coca Cola. A tip, do not order coca-cola or any other soda in this so-called bar, the waiter brought me a drink without the glass bottle. Normally, the coca must...More

You don't have to. I came here without a reservation and there was a lot of place to sit.
