Arrived on a Sunday evening without a reservation but they found us a table for 3 within minutes. The atmosphere was excellent although the lighting was too dim, and the service was good even though they were busy. The food was disappointing, no kleftiko which is normally standard for a greek restaurant. The prices were fair.

We've been there three times (two of them in three days' time) and people there just never disappoint us! Lovely atmosphere, very friendly and polite staff, fast and good service and some of the best Greek dishes we've ever taste! We've been in many Greek restaurants, though we believe that this might be the best Greek restaurant outside of Greece..!... More

We had seen this interesting looking restaurant while attending three day's at the fantastic world class Berlin Beer Festival ( BIERMEIELE ) and as we had already tried out the restaurant ACAPULCO close by during the festival decided to try KOS HOUSE. We were here on a Tuesday and the restaurant was maybe half full, the staff could not have been... More

We popped in here with no reservation early Friday evening and they found us a spot. Nice Greek sauv blanc which was a surprise! We had grilled octopus for starter which was cooked well though it was tastier once it was cold. We shared a lamb platter for two which was also well cooked and really tasty. Huge portions! There... We were staying nearby and happened in here one night. They were very busy, but found a place for our party of 7. Food was excellent. Complimentary ouzo. Friendly waiter...what more can you ask for? Even our picky 10-yea-old found something he liked.

The most appropriate restaurant to taste greek delicates! Homemade and healthy dishes! There is a great variety of both red and white wine! Pleasant atmosphere and quick service! From April till October there are tables outdoor!

I ordered the Kos Teller with all the usual specialties - souvlaki, gyros, lamb and so on. A greek salad with bread was served. 2 olives instead of 1 would have been better, and I would also have preferred some butter, but nonetheless: a great starter. The greek beer Mythos is a good choice for greek food - especially when... More

The best Greek food that we've eaten outside of Greece! Gyros cooked to perfection along with creamy tzaziki & well seasoned kritharaki made for a wonderful meal. The atmosphere is very cozy & the wait staff were attentive throughout the evening even though the restaurant was full on a Friday night. Was pleasantly surprised to find that they serve a... More

What an amazing find! So good, we ate here 2 nights in a row! The most amazing food, with grilled meats cooked to perfection and packed with flavour. The grilled lamb chops were the best my husband had ever tasted! Really friendly and helpful staff who made you feel like nothing was too much trouble and that they really wanted... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
