If you're after a traditional German meal out, it's a good one to try out. I know it's lazy but they speak great English and offer help in selecting if you're unsure. Plenty of choice, plus they do vegetarian and vegan should you need them.

Wonderful place to eat. Schnitzel was as big as the plate and tasted wonderful. Local beer was great too. Will try and find it again next time in Berlin.

My husband had their specialty sausages, which were devine. My German meal was ok. Obviously very popular with the locals. We may have been too tired the night we visited to truly absorb the atmosphere.

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can
both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central
neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s
and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around
Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today
