Read a previous review stating many vegan options. When I entered the restaurant I asked if they had vegan options. To be told no and before I could say anything else the waiter walked away. I was happy to stay and have a drink whilst...More
Looking around the town for somewhere we hadn't already tried, we came across Butz in a side street. Easy to overlook, as their main entrance is on a small square off the main drag. Very busy inside, we were lucky to get a seat (on...More
We found this place via TA during a day-trip to Rothenburg. First, the staff was super nice and spoke great English. We had the Jagerschnitzel with mushroom gravy, fried potatoes and salad and it was great. I normally don’t like unbreaded schnitzel, but this was...More

We ate here with our children of 3 and 7 years. We all really liked the traditional food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Prices were fair too. We sat inside, but outside would have been even more lovely.
Nothing fancy but tasty local food for moderate price: sausages with sauer cabage, gulash soup, chicken breast with baby carots. Good serving, nice atmosphere for small family dinner after day trip and before walk in this authenthical historical town
Ordered the roast beef, pork knuckle and beef roulade. Service was quick and the food was tasty. The staff took the time to explain what the yellow noodles were. Would definitely recommend the tender pork knuckle which came with salad and two potato dumplings.
