Throw the noodles (in the hot water), that I am coming home! I actually had to go back the memory lane to explain the "butta la pasta" entry in the menu to my guest. :-) Ah, memory of eating home.. when I called my mother...on my way just in time to find the pasta ready, and "al dente" as soon as I entered home. This place is wonderful. Michele is an exquisite host. And it's worth stopping by if you are around Regensburg. I haven't tried the breakfast... Italians eat breakfast only early morning, I went straight for lunch! :-) To the non initiated, the real secret of the good italian cooking is the quality of the ingredients... and this place is the proof of it. Mozzarella, parmesan, tomato, rucola... buonissimo!!! :-) BTW the final judgment on any Italian restaurant is their tiramisu... which most places are not able to get right... but Michele does wonders again. One of the best tiramisu I ever had outside of home... "poco ma buono" as I woudl say (very good, but too small! :-) I had to eat two of them, and if it wasn't for the abundant meal, I would have eaten 3! :-) (which kind of happened, as Michele offered me a slice of one of his cakes feeling guilty because I said it was too small :-) You will like it! :-) Butta la pasta, che arrivo! Good coffee, and plenty of fruit and delicious bread. We enjoyed eating there. Make sure you sit in the patio area for Rinaldi not the cafe next door;

Spending just one day in Regensburg so we had to choose our breakfast place wisely. We found this place to be No. #1 for breakfast, so found our way to it. There is quite a ritch manu with multiple breakfast combinations where almost all include...some eggs, some ham, cheese and friuts. I went for poached eggs with truffles, parma ham, cheese, jam & butter and lots of fruits. It was really great so that’s what I’d recommend. Oh, yeah, since the owner is Italian, they have amazing olive oil as well, so make sure you try it.More

This caffe was attached to our hotel, so we had their breakfast, as the hotel did not include a breakfast. We ordered what we assumed were two small plates, the La Contadinella and the La Bonta. What we were served was incredible! Both came on...platters, with an abundance of artistically presented fruit and yogurt, etc. Everything was fresh and almost too pretty to eat, but we indeed ate it all. No need for much of a lunch after this!!More

I spent a wonderful evening at Rinaldi with two of my most esteemed business partners. We were thrilled by the great service both Chris and Lorenzo provided to us. The wine card is mediocre at best and for an Italian place very disappointing. Should you...be in Regensburg and want an amazing dinner with top wine, please check Luna Rosa, you will be getting better food and wine, while service at Rinaldi is top notch.More

Seeing a limited menu is most of the time a good sign. I tried the beef fillet with rucola which was just perfect. Followed a really great tiramisu which is to be taken a reference as state of the art. Great expresso, tuned red Sicilian...wine. A place to be ...More

As a 50% italian, you have to trust me: this restaurant brings you to Itaky, straight to the hearth of it. Small number of plates, bit refined way of elaboration an presentation. In 3 we took the following: Starters: - Smoked Salmon with Buffala and...Tomato Bruschetta - Carpaccio di manzo with Parmiggiano and Ruccola (fresh as if it was coming directly from the garden!) Pasta: - Tagliatelle alla Salciccia a Funghi - Spaghetti con Gamberi e Calamari. Desert: - Tiramisu - Panna Cotta The service was extraordinary: I experience this very often outside Italy when I go to an Italian restaurant, run by italians abd if I order and communicate in italian On my next visit to Regensburg, this place will definitely be on the agenda again. Grazie mille per questa bella serata 👍🏻👍🏻😎😎More

I feel food quality got worse compare to before... It was one of my favorite breakfast place but no longer.... They just cut and put on plates without any care to what they serve: that's what I felt from last visit.

Not sure of the name but the cozy first floor up setting overlooking the Alte Kappel is a perfect place for coffee and cake. Though it doesn't take credit card I still recommend.

We`ve found this place in internet and decided to go there for breakfast.It was about 10.30 a/m, and the cafe was full of people. We were lucky and could found a table, but if you go there I recommend to reserve a table. The breakfast...was fantastic. The menu has a wide choosing of different breakfasts, you can choose even something with soya yuogurt.More

From the train station, walk straight down Maximillianstrasse until the end. This little cafe is a perfect choice for breakfast or lunch! The food is great, I think the portions are quite large and quality of food is really good! It's a nice and bright...cafe with one of the best breakfasts in Regensburg!More
