I will forever remember this place. The sausage and mustard were the very best I have ever had. We purchased some of the mustard to take home. I would return if I ever had the chance.

So, yes, this place can be “touristy”, but we saw and heard plenty of Germans (some appearing quite local) when we arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon. The place was packed inside and out. However, we only waited about ten minutes for an inside table...and the lady seating us work hard to find us a table. Service was absolutely fine…if a tad on the slow side, but remember the place was packed. We ordered eight Nuremberg sausages and potato salad to share along with two large draft Tucher Helles beers. Man, the sausages were wonderful..so nicely grilled and hot. And, the potato salad..wow! Very good. Would not hesitate to return. But, just be patient with your server..they are slammed most the time and work extremely hard. Be nice..enjoy your meal and beer. You will not be rushed to leave. Outside seating looked great, but was a bit too cool for my wife to sit outside. If a nice day, I would not hesitate to ask for one of the outside tables.More

Quick service, the sausages are very tasty, as well as the white cabbage. My husband had a tasty draft beer. We loved everything :)

As a vegetarian this may not be the best choice of restaurant, the restaurant has after all a reputation for some of the best sausages on the planet! That said as part of a group of mainly carnivores I can safely agree the quality of...food was excellent. Even as a vegetarian I was pleasantly surprised and did manage to find a few tasty options. As a vegan (which I was for quite a few years) the menu offerings would be a challenge. The service was very good and only a short wait before getting a table despite being very busy. It was a cold Friday evening and the warm rustic interior was very pleasant and welcoming. Good beer and wine selection . The pricing was also very reasonable . All in all a nice experience , I would certainly recommend a visit if you are in the heart of NuremburgMore

if in Nuremburg you must visit during the old town exploration to taste the original local sausages. This place has a long history (since 1468) and also you can take away a simple bread sandwich with sausages to try it if in a hurry!

Had a fine lunch of bratwurst, kraut and Tucher beer. Service was great and the waiter allowed me to pretend I speak German while ordering. Heaters provide a good cold-weather experience outside so no need to flash my Covid doc to get inside. No need...to wear masks while eating, of course.More

Great place for nurenburger sausages on a bun (drei im weckla). Enjoyed sitting outside with a nice glass of wine once and once with a beer and watching the people show that emerged in the square in front of city hall. Great place to spend...a relaxing hour just soaking up the ambiance.More

Before arriving in Nuremberg we had heard about the famous Nuremberg sausages. They are seasoned with marjoram and are small compared to some other wursts. We learned they are best cooked on a beechwood fire. This description led us to Bratwursthausle Tucher Zeigen. We walked...by many restaurants that served the local sausages but this restaurant had the smoke emanating into the air from the cooking which was so inviting. It was a simple order of how many sausages you wanted and a choice of potato salad or sauerkraut. Baskets of crusty bread and a crock of German Mustard was ready and waiting. These gems served with a cold beer and what could be more perfect. (July, 2019)More

I had heard good things about this place from friends. I then went with two other friends. I have to say it's a nice place, typical of this area of Germany. We tasted their specialties and, I must say, they are excellent. The service is...quick and efficient. The price is right. I recommend trying it ... if you like meat you won't be disappointed Enjoy your meal !More
