We have been going to this restaurant for a number of years and have seen it deteriorate. The food is tasty and portions are fair. The cleanliness of bathrooms and around the dining room is deplorable. The health department should pay them a visit and shut them down until they clean up and renovate. The service was also not attentive... More

This isn't Canada so I didn't expect great Chinese food. We went on Sunday lunch when Munich was literally a dead city. We ordered dim sum, fried rice, Vietnamese pho, and Vietnamese salad roll. Turned out, they all tasted very good and also very authentic ! The dim sum "ha kau" was made with quality shrimps with thin wrap (... More

I hate putting bad reviews for places but my wife and I just had one of the worst meals we have eaten in many years and it cost us 80 Euros. The Prawn crackers were so stale I thought they were at least 2 days old, the king prawns tasted of the freezer and that's about it, the chicken on... More

My partner is Japanese and picky on her Asian food. She was happy with her order so the restaurant gets a thumbs up.

After 12 days of German & Austrian food, we longed for the comfort of Chinese meal. Kam Yi was very close to our hotel (Holiday Inn Munich Centre) and the Rosenheimer Platz S station. While the menu looked big, there were actually not many dishes to pick from. However, what we ordered were all very good. We ate there twice... More

Dined here a number of times over the years and have never been disappointed. An excellent menu and always pleasing staff. I bring Chinese business partners her end they are always pleased. A favorite in Munich when you want Asian food.

I went there several times. Waiters are friendly and service is good. Duck dishes are delicious but other foods are also tasty. It's a big restaurant that can also groups. Reasonable prices for good quality!

I was for lunch in Kam Yi. Prices for lunch menu are reasonable and include starter as a soup. Food tastes good and is like home-made.

Not the cheapest option when it comes to Asian food, but it is one of the very few Chinese restaurants in Munich (and oxymoron everywhere else in the world, but somehow Bavarian capital seems to be short on Chinese places...) With predominantly Chinese staff and cooks, Kam Yi is also a popular place with all visiting Chinese tourists, who get... More

Went to this restaurant because it was across the street from the hotel and we were not in the mood to venture far. The waitress was completely distracted while taking our order. The food was just fair, my husband and daughter liked their shrimp dish but the chicken dish was just okay and arrived 20 minutes after the shrimp dish.... More
