We found the place thanks to TripAdvisor app. It's a nice restaurant, located 50 meters out from the walking-touristic area. We had a very nice dinner, the food is excellent and the plate are very well prepared. The service is great, the owner very friendly. He recommended me a nice austrian wine, without adding to the bill. The environment is... More

We often eat at Neuner when we visit Munich. The food is always good and the wine selection is first rate. Service is better than you come to expect from many of the more famous restaurants. Reservations are recommended for evening meals. We often eat there in the middle of the day, when reservations are less critical. The Food Presentation... More

My husband and I wanted a taste of real quality German cuisine and this place did not disappoint. We were made to feel very much at home in this cosy Bavarian restaurant. The staff were extremely hospitable, chatty and welcoming. The food was plentiful and great value. Would recommend to any first timers to Munich who want to avoid tourist... More

We had a most spectacular meal here. We started with a pumpkin ravioli appetizer, it was fantastic. I had the Pike Perch which was amazing. My friend had the duck which had the most crispy skin. All of the dishes, even the bread and truffle spread were great. The service was impeccable. Will definitely visit again if we are in... More

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of our hotel and were very pleasantly surprised. Excellent food and service with (not surprisingly) a great wine list. My wife had the Bavarian duck, which she said may have been the best duck she's ever had. Cozy wood panel atmosphere. On a side street near Marienplatz not far from the cathedral.... More

Superb restaurant, especially but not exclusively the duck. We decided to go back the last night of our Munich stay in addition to our first night visit because we liked it so much. Great atmosphere and engaging fun waitstaff. One of the best restaurants on our two-week European trip.

Return visit, always feature something in season. Swordfish carpaccio and beef carpaccio both great. the Venison, beautiful. Take notice of the wine waiter.. he knows many local wines of interest.

Excellent service, good food and wine. The restaurant was occupied by locals which tells you it is not a "tourist trap." Our server was well versed in the wines and offered us an excellent selection for our meal choices.
