Food and ambience

Our restaurant "Der Pschorr" is a popular bavarian restaurant in the center of Munich – directly at the Viktualienmarkt. A meeting place for all of Munich, as well as for visitors and friends of the city. We cultivate traditional beer culture and serve up top-quality regional products. Everyone can enjoy the excellent beer, bavarian cuisine and the friendly service. Highlights: We still serve beer from wooden barrels ‐ traditionally cooled with ice bars in a barrel cellar. For all meals: Regional sourcing is important to us. We support the local agriculture by using fresh regional products on a daily base for our bavarian cuisine. In a central location, close to the Marienplatz, "Pschorr" can

I live part time in Munich. Der Pschorr is ok-great location at top of the Viktualien Market, and when the outside is open that is the ideal spot. Food is good, beer is good. Good beef.

We came here for dinner. The staff were attentive & welcoming. The beer was delicious & very authentic. The food was traditional German cuisine, which was very tasty. The atmosphere was cheerful and pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

The location of this restaurant (right by the Viktualienmarkt) means it has a lot of customers, rather than the food or service. Saturdays are particularly bad - they won't take reservations, but will tell you to come by, where they tell you to have a...More

We went here with a group of friends. I didn't like my Bavarian braised meat that is supposed to be a specialty. Meat overall untasteful and stiff. Spatzle also not tasty at all. In the end we took strudel to finish and it was good,...More
