This place is like vapiano group resturants all over the world. You're given a card and you can order what you want pizza, salad, pasta, desert or other stuff. The food is mixed of Italian and Asian and I love this kind of food. It has indoor and outdoor areas. Very modern very nice place. I'd recommend for anyone whom... More

This is an unusual restaurant concept, at least for me coming from London. When you go in you are given a card, an then go to different counters to order the food you want - this is charged to your card and you pay at the end. There is a good range of pastas and pizzas, and of stir fries... More

We went here last Monday evening between 6-7pm which was a good move before we had to rush off to a new happening flick at Museum Lichtspiele (cinema near Deustches Museum)! Over the years, I have been to Gast several times and even though it was busy (evening-wise that's the norm), the three of us got our drinks and pizzas... More

What a fun and yummy restaurant. In the US we would not know how to categorize Gast. It's a hip and cool club, self serv restaurant, Italian bistro, neighborhood joint...all in one. My pasta bolognese was delicious, as was my friend's thin crust pizza. The wine selection was good, with by-the-glass prices in the 4-5 euro range...cheap by US standards.... More

This is my second dinning room. Not only because it's very close to where I live but the it's easy, fast, cheap, good and very nice atmosphere! Doesn't matter if you're coming from jogging, work, before going out or just want to have a quick dinner. I recommend the pizzas.

This is near the Gasteig, which is a performance hall, so I would suggest avoiding it on event nights when it's a bit over run. They have a chip card at the door, which seems to be on trend in Munich. The food is incredibly reasonable for quality and price. The open kitchen also allows you to customize things.

Gast does this funny thing where you get a gast "credit card" on arrival, put all your food and drink on it, in a canteenish style self service setup, and pay at the desk on leaving. They serve pizza, pasta and asian food from three diferent stations. I had pizza this time and it was ok, not great. I think... More

I went there with some friends & I really loved the idea of having a card that stores all your orders. Now it is so easy to have split the bill when you are with colleagues. I also loved the food. I had these cheese pizza with tomato sauce & olives on top. it was nice.

GREAT Food, made the way you want it, in front of your eyes and that too at an economical cost... Was introduced to the Gast by my colleague and did not regret it at all.. in fact went back there a second time in the same week.. something which I usually do not do.. Ambience was also excellent with a... More
