The food was brilliant, so traditional and just delicious; we really enjoyed it however all the staff were so unfriendly. At lunch we went to reserve a table for the evening and just didn't leave with a good impression at all. In the evening was the same thing with different staff. It's a shame because it lets the restaurant down!

The beer was nice and the sausages we ordered was a bit over-grilled. It tastes a little bitter but it's fined. Potato salad matches the sausages, nice combo!! Friendly people sitting with us and we had a very great time there!!

Went here for lunch as we wanted a sit down place to rest our feet. They have menu translations for at least 5 different languages. Potato salad was awesome. Sauerbraten tasted just like a beef roast at home. Schintzal was tasty and not heavily fried. Potato dumpling was kinda odd texture (slimy), but it didn't taste bad.

The restaurant is at the northern end of the traditional food market. The inside is welcoming warm with comforrable seatings. Beer taping is celebrated weekends by using traditional wooden barrels in which the beer riped and experts would alwyays prefer a glas from this way over one of the industrialized. Foods such as sausages and meats are barbecued on an... More

We dined here twice on a recent visit to Munich. The wood fired grilled Nürnberg sausages here were better than any we had elsewhere - even in Nürnberg!! Small and popular with locals so expect to wait for a table. very reasonable prices, great beer, excellent food and cozy atmosphere - we will definitely go back when in Munich.

This is a very cheap, traditional place serving German food. We went here because the other restaurants around this area were all full. The spatzle had no taste and was just butter noodles instead of with cheese and onion. The only positive was sitting with other visitors and talking and making friends over dinner ! Would not recommend.

Worst service I've seen in my life. Considering it was Christmas market time, we expected a busy restaurant and possibly some slower than usual service. We stood at the door for about 15 minutes before one of the staff bothered to attend to us and show us to some seats. At that point we were fortunate to get a beer,... More

We visited this restaurant last saturday night following a recommendation from a tour guide we met in Munich. He told us that the food was good and much better value than other more tourist places in the City Centre, however, he did say that the service is a bit hit and miss. We went anyway and did not book ahead.... More

Came here on our first day in Germany, while we were waiting to check in to a hotel nearby. No English menus available and limited English ability from staff, but very friendly and our sausage plate, soup, and pretzels were the perfect start to the trip. Pschorr beers were great. Lots of locals.

This restaurant was recommended to me by the guide of the free tour, and it was a good recommendation. The service was polite and efficient, the food was reasonably priced and it was very tasty. I had 10 sausages and potato salad and I would definitely recommend it. My only regret is that I didn't go for more sausages!
