Whilst staying in München my husband and I ate breakfast at this gorgeous restaurant not once, but twice!
Being gluten and lactose intolerant eating out, particularly breakfast was challenging in Germany.
This place has not only has gluten and lactose free options but also vegan for breakfast.
The service was excellent, the coffee was great and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant and staying around the Schwabing area if visiting München.

Walking, walking, walking, and NOT wanting to eat a big hunk of meat, globs of cheese, so delicious in Munich, but something healthy, filling and light, I stumbled onto this place near a subway stop. Touted as "organic" I was a little worried about how flavorful the food would be. I ordered a salade nicoise, and it was the best I have ever had, anywhere. The service was perfect, even got some airport transit advice from the proprietor. But the salad and fresh tuna, mmm, just wonderful, still thinking of it.
Will definitely go back and try other menu items.

Ok, I should not tell because I dont want this place to get overcrowded. This place is awesome, the couple who run it are great. It's got dark windows so from out maybe its not so inviting, but the inside is nice. The food is excellent, literally everything ia above the normal. They use organic products and the lady actually KNOWS what food allergies are. Their salad burger (without bun) is to die for. Their soups are super. She had even self made cakes withut milk or gluten - you can preoder them too for special occasions. The menu is simple, which is exactly how I like it. Breakfast is great too! Totally, totally, totally, recommend for cafe and also to a bigger hunger.

Discovered this quaint little restaurant on an evening walk in our new neighborhood and couldn't be happier to have such a quality establishment nearby. The host/owner? was very attentive and helped translate the menu for us. Being mostly vegetarian, I'm pretty picky about the freshness of my food and we both had excellent meals....beautifully prepared as well as very tasty. There was only one other couple in the restaurant at the time so I hope it continues to draw patrons because its well worth a night out.

We came across Brasserie Shogenoff quite by accident after being turned away at our destination. The owner explained the German-only chalkboard menu to us, and our group of four ordered everything on the menu. Some misses (the salad was large and fresh but not special), but several excellent dishes and we all enjoyed the chocolate cake so much, our host gave us an extra one "to-go". We spent 100 Euros (for four) including drinks.
