Very nice food but also very slow service. Had to wait 20 mins until someone came over to take a drinks order despite us being there over an hour already having eaten already. The staff seem to spend a lot of time at the bar. Nice atmosphere and layout though.

I've never eaten here but have visited a few times for cocktails which are very good. Quick, pretty friendly table service and an extensive list of cocktails ranging from the classics to house specials and even some frozen specialities. Happy hour is from 12-8 then again after 11 making cocktails at this time very reasonable Outside of happy hour they... More

Went here to for dinner and to watch Germany-Poland; lots of televisions, so easy to watch the game. Had the Wienerschnitzel, which was absolutely huge, as well as delicious. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, they serve Augustiner from wooden barrels (€3.50).

It was the final afternoon of a two-week European tour with an 11-year-old granddaughter. We were staying nearby in the Munich City Hilton and were somewhat surprised when her meal choice for her last meal in Germany (indeed in our four-nation trip) was yet one more Schnitzel (we had suspected it would be Pizza Margherita). Finding an appropriate venue mid-afternoon... More

Went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning with some local friends, who had recommended the place. Service was very quick, breakfast was nice and portions large enough. Very recommendable, yet yup should get reservations.

Been there twice last few days. Typical Bavarian café. Service a bit slow in peak hours. Had Weisswurst for breakfast. Quite okay.

This little cafe tucked in a residential area off the beaten path offers a lot of traditional Bavarian fare that is good and reasonably priced. The highlight is being able to sit outside on a nice night and watch the city stroll by. The schnitzel is very good but huge so go hungry.

As a bit of a veteran ex=pat in Munich (I lived here between 2001 and 2004 - and have lived here again since October 2013) I have been to Cafe Voila many-a-time. Many moons ago, you had to book ahead to get a table in this cocktail bar / restaurant in Haidhausen. Me and friends would be in here most... More

Take the dinner on 4th day here. Tried the grill salmon, Germany potato soup, it is very good. The Thai waitress is helpful. No English menu. Service is good. The atmosphere is good. Price is reasonable. Found there is 19% tax here.

Thank William K
