Authentic Georgian cuisine. Better than in Tbilisi, yet 5x more expensive. Note that most of the dishes, many of which we Georgians consider as starters--- are charged 10 EUR. If you add a couple of red wine glasses, your bill will reach 100eur for 2,...too much for tasty albeit basic food and set up. This restaurant probably takes advantage of the exclusivity of serving Georgian food in Bavaria, hopefully for not too long.More

We walked by here on our way to the supermarket and were intrigued. Neither of us had had Georgian cuisine before, the menu featured a lot of lamb which we both love and Georgian wines are supposed to be very good. We got reservations one...night for 7PM. The place is very small and every table was filled or reserved when we got there. There were only 2 people working- the owner and a waiter and all the food was cooked to order so the meal was very leisurely and the food was definitely worth waiting for. Everything we had was delicious. We got 2 appetizers to share- one mushroom and one cheese bread. My lamb stew had 4 meaty lamb chops in it. We had a very good bottle of red wine to go with the meal. The meal took nearly 3 hours and we walked back to the hotel feeling incredibly relaxed. We Americans are so used to gulping our food that we forget how nice it is to just take our time and savor our meal and enjoy each others company. When we got back to our hotel, the first thing we did was look to see if there were Georgian restaurants in Philadelphia. And there are!More

Not right in the center (but a 5 minute train ride away) is Iveria. If you need a break from all of the German food, or if you ever wanted to try Georgian cuisine, book here! This was an unexpected highlight of our dinners in...Munich. Definitely book ahead as this is very popular with locals. We had khachapuri to share, the most amazing chicken in garlic sauce and some grilled meat and vegetables with a lovely and unusual tomato sauce. So many great flavors and a lovely departure from all the traditional German places. English is spoken pretty well and the staff is pretty fun and informal.More

We arrived at 8pm on friday and luckily we had a reservation because the place was packed. The interior of this restaurant is very nice and cosy but we came for the food of course which was amazing. Khinkali, shashlik both chicken and pork, and...khachapuri adjaruli were simply awesome. Let's not forget about the great Georgian wine too. All in all a great experience and a place that we will definitely come back to.More

Wanted to try something different and reviews were all very positive. Service was good, all waiters friendly and helpful. Food very ordinary, some tasty, some regular meat or vegetable dishes that can be found in any ethnic restaurant. Admittedly we didn't get to taste the...famous ravioli as the machine was broken, could be that this place may have been worth a better review. If you're in the area give it a try, but don't expect anything you haven't already eaten in Munich.More

This restaurant has terrible service and extremely rude waiters. We will not be returning. Do not bother going if you do not have a reservation.

The food was excellent, fresh and very delicious. Service is friendly and the restaurant was fully booked (on a Monday evening). We came there to also eat the Georgian dumplings, but unfortunately the machine was broken and we were not able to eat them. But...anyway, we will come back and hope that next time we can also taste the dumplings. I recommend to book a table, when you want to go thereMore

Very good food and service, reasonable price. Start with chacha, a georgian alcohol and ordered grilled salmon which was great. Salad was very fresh and tasty. Will come again next visit in the city.
