The food was good, I had the grilled avocado with fried Tempeh and salad. It was a nice mix of flavors that I appreciated. On the other hand, the drinks were overpriced. 11 € for a small glass of (a bad) margarita is a lot,...and 7.5 € for a bottle of water is definitely too much. Initially the waiter didn’t let me pay with the card, but after I had no other option he accepted the payment with the card. This was awkward. Can I suggest an improvement ? We ordered edamame which never disappoints but this one was not steamed, they made it in a pan, it was very oily and burned. Horrible. We also ordered the carrot seaweed salad, which was also horrible, it was hot, very oily and extremely salty. We...didn’t finish our food, which rarely happens. This restaurant is completely different from the former Gratitude, which used to be really good. But this new one is really bad. My boyfriend and I had stomach cramps all night long.More
The place is very nice. Prices are high (main courses €16 and appetizers €9) but I mean high regarding its size. Dishes are extremely small. I think those prices are fair for the quality level but only if they at least double its size. The...food was delicious. The service super.More
Great vegan and raw vegan food in Munich! The raw beetroot ravioli are excellent as is the pumpkin sushi - leave room for dessert because it’s worth it!!!
We called on the day and they managed to squeeze us in. The food was delicious and reasonable priced, good portions and a good wine. There was a lovely relaxed and cosy environment, the staff were friendly and service good, I have a lentil allergy...and they checked that my choice was safe with the kitchenMore
Make a reservation! They were kind enough to get us in for a quick dinner as it’s the best vegan option in the neighborhood. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent.
Absolutely recommendable for any special occasion! Have come here multiple times with friends and everyone very much enjoyed it, even though some were enthusiastic carnivores. All left with the intention to cook vegan more often.
This was heaven sent after several days of eating fatty food whilst travelling. The opportunity to eat healthy raw food was great. It was delicious too. Two of us had beetroot ravioli , one Pad Thai and one urkorn risotto. Bill for 4 with drinks...85eurosMore
Local and decor are great for a date night or a night out with friends. It is a bit tight inside, however there is outdoor seating. Edamame for an app is amazing! Drinks and desserts are also great. However, for someone who is gluten free,...the main options have a lot to be desired, however there is more than one option. Be sure to make a reservation.More
We have been surprised by the poor service in the restaurant. It seems another shift or team was working at our last visit for dinner. The restaurant was packed like always (we are frequent guests). The service was incredibly slow, inattentive, and partly even unfriendly....They had no clue about the offered wine selection. They even forgot the drinks we ordered. We never experienced this in the last year. What happened? Very, very disappointing. For that kind of price level, we also expect friendly and adequate service. Most likely our last visit.More
Sorry for your bad experience. However your review is not credible since that evening I thoroughly examined all waiters and no incident had been reported
If I could leave 10 stars I would! Myself and my boyfriend visited without a reservation and luckily they had a table free. We both had starters - tempura tempeh and grilled artichoke which were both wonderful! To follow the beetroot ravioli ( the vegan...cheese was amazing!) and their signature main dish the grilled avocado. The avocado came with tempura tempeh which was my boyfriends favourite. The celery mash was also a hit! All dishes were presented beautifully. Manu was a wonderful waiter who was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and really took the time to make us feel welcome and well cared for. We both had a cocktail for aperitifs. Sloe Gin which I love and my boyfriend also enjoyed this even though he isn’t a gin fan! Our second cocktail was called the purple Jonoud which was AMAZING! Slightly spicy and aromatic it was delicious! I wish that we were here longer to enjoy more of magnus’s cocktails! Thank you for taking the time to talk to us about your wonderful cocktail menu! M&M are wonderful servers, myself and my boyfriend both work in the hospitality industry and it can completely change your dining experience when you are gifted with servers such as these that are knowledgeable and passionate about the food and drink. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough! We are both vegetarian and have tried many vegetarian and vegan restaurants around Europe, but this is the BEST! Also to the owner of Gratitude - you have such amazing staff they definitely deserve praise and a pay rise! Thank you for having us in your fantastic restaurant and if we are ever back in Munich we will definitely come again. Regards, Ellie & NickMore
Very good vegan food. We've tried two mains and both were delicious. Hummus and tempeh soooo good. Service friendly and nice, better than usual German standard.
We were recommended to come here and it was well worth the visit. Service was very friendly and efficient despite it being very busy. The food was delicious and filling and good value.
This was our second visit to the restaurant and it was as crowded as ever. And why wouldn’t it, as the food is excellent- if it comes... this time we waited over an hour to receive our main course. Customers left and right were being...served while we have been stuck with an empty plate after a great starter. Nobody seem to notice anything wrong with it. After we notified the staff, we were offered an espresso or digestive as an apology. When we asked for one dessert instead we were graciously offered a 4 Euro discount on the total of 8.50 Euro for the dessert. The lack of customer service in Germany always amazes me. But being fully booked every evening Gratitude doesn’t really any return business.More
